    Don't mean to hijack the thread, but when we were in Seattle last week, all the cabs have one flat rate to downtown hotels. $32. Sounds steep, but Seatac airport to downtown is quite a drive.

    OK, back to Vegas and long hauling.

    New Orleans has a flat rate to the airport too. It was $20 each way the last time I was there.

    It's usually a flat rate from the airport to cruise ports.
