My wife and I are booked in a terrace suite for three nights next week. I've read several poor reviews on the housekeeping there, even when first checking in.

I'm not comped and am paying $350 a night for the room. I'm gonna be super pissed if my room isn't clean when I get there. Has anyone who has stayed there had any issues with cleanliness of the room? Maybe I'm just reading bad reviews. I don't want to change hotels because of the balcony overlooking the fountains, the proximity to the strip, and I love the casino. But, if the 350/nt room isn't going to be clean I'll rebook elsewhere.

We stayed 4 nights in a Terrace Suite. It is a very nice suite.

There were crumbs on the balcony furniture. I don't think the balcony was cleaned during our stay. The toilet in the smaller bathroom was nasty - not sure what had happened there. I left a note for housekeeping and it was thoroughly cleaned while we were out the next morning.

I called housekeeping to clean our room each day when we went out in the morning. Always got a polite response and room was always done by the time we got back, with no issues.

Don't give up your booking because of possible issues. Problems can occur anywhere.

I agree - don't fret in advance. Do deal with it if it happens - call and ask for an immediate response. Good luck, hope you enjoy your stay!

My girlfriend and I stayed there last April in the terrace one bedroom on the 47th floor of the west tower. It was amazing and very clean!! You will love it. I like the hot tub next to the window, that was the best!

I stayed there last August and October. I had no problems with dirty rooms or housekeeping. The housekeepers cleaned the rooms nicely during both stays.

Our first stay we paid $350 a night for a wraparound room. The bathtub had green slime in it and we found a semen stain on a blanket.

The second time we stayed there (comped after complaining that $350 a night was too much for that crap) everything was lovely.

I think its hit or miss but I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you complain IF there is a problem.

We stayed in a terrace suite back in November and had some cleaning issues. One day found a cigarette butt on the floor (we don't smoke), another day had crumbs on couch on balcony. A few other small things too but can't recall. Also, The remote did not have batteries in it, the scale did not work and it seemed like the pump for the tub jets would turn on and off at will! Not the end of the world, but not acceptable for an upscale property and it was not a good first impression. It was sort of a bummer because the place is gorgeous and we were really hoping for the best. I guess on the bright side, every time my wife called and complained we got a 75$ credit, so we basically paid for nothing while we were there.

    Thanks for the info.

It sounds like several people have had problems, but once you call to let them know, they are taken care of. Some reviews I have read elsewhere talked about rooms not being taken care of daily.
