    My Trip Report

    http://www.jazzopolis.com/~paka/june2004vacation.html

Back from our trip, had a GREAT time!! [IMG] Made a webpage out of this report, as I plan to post it elsewhere and send it to a few folks.

It does have a lot of photos on it, though I did shrink them a bunch so that it will load faster.

Another warning... much of this trip-- like most of our trips out there-- was spent in other regions outside of Vegas. But hopefully perhaps there might be those here planning sidetrips to some of these places that might find some of the info useful.

Great pictures and report. Funny you mention those slot machines between the casino and the tower rooms. That is where my husband and I stayed two years ago and we played the slots through there but couldn't win a dang thing and never saw anyone else win either.

Great report! We did the Zion and Cedar Breaks trip last June and loved it. We also stayed at the Desert Pearl Inn -- what a great place to stay!

Thanks for sharing the pictures -- brings back fond memories (and anticipation of our trip next week)!

    Paka,
You may want to check your site. At least for me, the pictures are not loading. The bottom of the page mentions that it was "refreshed" yesterday. Perhaps during the refresh the link to the pictures was broken?

    I'll check back later...

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Thanks, everyone!! [IMG]

Yep, photobucket.com-- where I store the photos-- went down for awhile it looks like... :( It is a good site though, one of the few free ones left out there that allows direct linking of pics, and it gives you a ton of storage space and bandwidth.

... Now, one of the problems with the pics being shrunk-- you lose a lot of the detail of the scenery. I uploaded a few other photos to my main account in their original size; you can see the difference, for those interested (sorry to those with dial-up, lol [IMG] ). The first is in Zion, the second Kolob, the 3rd and 4th Cedar Breaks, the 5th on 153 in the mountains of Utah, and the 6th is the view off our balcony at the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley-

And one more, of Lake Panguitch, in the Mountains of Utah, between Cedar Breaks and Panguitch-
