since last report, hit pool then dinner using Casino Royale comps at Outback, and yes I did use my whole $100 comp slip with a Ribeye complemented by add-on King Crab, Maine Lobster tail, and Coconut Shrimp plus drinks. That is a good picture.

now back to the room to supplement the 3hrs sleep with a nap!

Okay I have to make this quick you guys sorry. Lady friend waiting.

Reporting live from the Flamingo Diamond Lounge. Sweet talked my way into a mini suite at check in due to birthday weekend! Not bad. Now let's see if that works at Ceasers for the second half of my trip Monday.

I haven't read anything yet but I will see Beejay is up to his old chasing ways and it is paying off. $5 DDBP netted him 1250 at Flamingo bar tops last ngiht after I donated $200 hitting nothing. Quad aces at Royale later turned around a near bad start to the trip as I was in to my 4th $100 bill. Then a couple progressive quads on a 10 play Bellgio machine had me up for last night. Only played DDBOP and had 8 quads overall. We hit Ballys, Royale, Bellagio and Flamingo.

Played at Royale after Outback where Beejay ordered everything on the menu twice. Two quads including 4's. So lost all money at HET properties and made most of it back at Royale. I see a pattern here.

Up about $100 for trip everything comped...it's a great system when it works.

Four of us are hitting Tao tonight. I am afriad what will happen to Beejay while we leave him alone for a few hours as we will be hitting him up later for a craps session somewhere. We are also meeting up with my friend from Vancouver who is here 13 other guys for a stag.

No good can come from tonight and I may not be able to share too many details. And oh my god the Flamingo pool was so busy you could barely find towel space on the cement! I hvae never seen it so busy. There is security at the gate checking everyone for room cards and even a Diamond Line for pool admission! Really! A Diamond Line for the pool? No sir I did not bring my Diamond Card to the pool as I did not expect to have to cut a line!

    Crazy!

    Back to drinks....

    Ghost Bar tonight

Sunday nights should be pretty slow at Ghost Bar and Playboy Club, but this is Memorial Day. Those two locales are in TWO different towers. Sunday is a GET in Free night. If you can find any of the people staying at the Palms they should have some get in free cards in their check in pouch.

I do not remember any SLOT machines at the Playboy Club. There are Blackjack tables and the bar facing north, with the Red Playboy light behind it has video poker. The two times I gambled there, I won. I can tell you that on a Saturday night the minimum Blackjack bet was $25(early hours) and $50(after ten PM I think). There might be roulette and craps, I know they changed the layout again, and the two bunny dealers I knew no longer work there.

There are two more bars, one by the stairway to Moon, and another one back in the BACK. I am not sure if they have video poker at them.

From the Playboy Club you can go up and down to MOON. That is what I do. Table in Playboy Club, go upstairs to Moon, when I am sick of the crowd, go downstairs for quieter moments.

At Moon, there are some booths outside, which I think would be fun to sit at.

If this picture is too much the MODS can delete it or ask me to and I will remove it.

The Bunny tail is a snap on and will come off.

the other side of the story.....

nap turned into watching hockey game and after that was over I fell immediately asleep from 8pm until the texts starting coming in heavy at 1am, quick shower and back out to a high quality craps session netting $300 profit, mostly from carny bets.

that may have put me back up near $2,000 for the trip, but the video poker was ice cold as i chased from $2 to $5 to $10. Had a 16 hand no-pair run.

My net profit for the trip is now $32. The bankroll is safely returned for next time.

Had a blast partying with Gaggles and this newer crew. I may know more poeple in Lethbride then in Chicago soon!

5:17am here, time for a 5 hr nap and then off to the airport for me.

    Overall Summary:

My new plan of opening a Vegas Fund bank account at US Bank is working nicely as I'm able to deposit cash easily to take it back out of play and there is a new location near my home. There are a couple branches near the strip, just far enough away to cab over for a deposit, but not easy enough to get to for withdrawals, and I set my ATM limit to $300 to limit withdrawals and POS debits. I can state without waivering that had I not dropped off money when I was up, I would now be blowing my bankroll instead of just the profits.

So it was a barely profitable trip thanks to good experience on carny games, won money on MS STUD. Won on BJ. Played very little roulette, no spins over $200 and I won on the one $200 spin I did ($700 for 4 nickels on #20). Maybe played 10 total roulette spins the whole trip. I guess if you factor in a couple hundo for tips the gambling was a little better. Video poker totally sucked except for the luck of hitting 2 quads when I bumped up to $5 instead of the $2 I mostly played. Also hit a couple full boats on very limited $10 play and quad 4's no kicker for $800 on $2. Other than that is was just a cash drain.

As for the Flamingo. The GO room, again is nice. It is adequate. The hotel overall is pretty nasty. The pool I would not go back to, too many kids, not just college but lots of splashing from little kids.

The food this trip was horrific. Since i left home I ate one very crappy meal on Delta. Their first class isn't as bad as US Air but its even worse than United. I wouldn't fly first class ever again unless it were American. They served a cold pasta salad with crappy hard breadsticks in a prepack wrapper I had to fight to get open and then they were all broken. The service was good though. I had to have a Sbarros at Salt Lake City and that sucked. Then we ate at The Burger Joint and that was horrendous. food and service sucked. The pizza from Flamingo was probably the highlight and it was just average. We used comps at Outback and I got a Ribeye with add-on king crab, small lobster tail, and coconut fried shrimp. The seafood was good, but the steak was low quality. Might have to hit Wynn buffet just to right my system tomorrow. lol.

Drink and floor service and dealers at Flamingo were great as always. Service and gaming at Casino Royale was good. That is about it, we didn't go much of anywhere else except the usual late night stumbling and gambling.

I was just glad to be a part of Gaggles bday celebration and never did meet up with Airball1996.

Well Gaggles has 4 more nights here so I look forward to reading of his royals and partying on here. Next trip is scheduled for July 2-5 and it'll be nice to have a double bankroll with the base bankroll from this trip unscathed throughout. My only risk for that trip is how new work thing goes, may have to see if they have that Friday off like my other client at the time I scheduled. Not to mention gauging the wife's preference for a family summer trip vs. a trade off for a girls trip. I've got it booked though so I'd say I'm in.

now for a nap before the limo at noon. BeeJay out.

beeejay-the only really good airport food I like is at your hometown airport of midway, Potbelly subs. Coming from boston flying southwest, I usually almost seek out (I don't have to try hard, its usually an automatic layover there) a layover at Midway to get a sub at Potbellys. awesome sandwiches.

naps are for wimps....i've got breakfasts orderred from Flamingo roomservice on the way. lol, only one breakfast actually but it sounds pretty big. then maybe walk the strip and burn off some of the post meal FAT.

the video poker lately has been a screw job, last two trips anyway. then again the casino prob thought it was a rip off when we were getting quad aces and royals those other trips. gaggles has hit quite a few quads including aces I witnessed last night. it makes me want to puke to see those 25 cent hits when I am playing $2-$5. what would really gag me is if I went down to quarters and hit quads for $62.50. Then again $62.50 might be my monthly rent when I am living in Gaggles garage.

fancy partying with 3 Limeys? We're in Vegas 6/30-7/04 - my first ever trip. Staying at Aria and planning to eat at as many high end steakhouses as possible whilst trying to get vodka+lime out of the cocktail waitresses (only my choice of grain is Zubrowka Bison Grass - where we gonna score that on the strip?). You can teach me craps (there's almost zero craps in UK) and i can sneer at 00 roulette (single 0 all the way over here!).

    Agree on two things:

The cellphone service (AT&T) was horrible.
    The joints were freakin packed

We were there last weekend. It was the first time in four trips that we waited in a significant line for a cab.

I couldn't get on the internet on my phone at all.

Another quick update from the Flamingo. Enjoying a screwdriver after Grand Lux lunch and a 2.5 hour nap after some early pool time.

Last night was more quad madness for me but apparently not for others. More quads at Royale and that got tired so we crossed the street to Mirage where I took up a post on a 10 play .25 progressive. Before I could realize how shitty the pay tables were (7/5..am I at Harrahs?) I held a pair of twos and got deal 2/2/4. Thank you for the quick $400. Love the casino but WTF is with that pay table. Harrahs bar tops are better.

From here there was a disturbing amount of alcohol consumed and a journey to the Flamingo ensued as the hour was late. What is this? A spot on the hook at a $10 table. Hadn't played anything other than VP so I hopped in. Table was spotty. In a very Beejay type move I could not leave with a small profit and chased for a big win. Whoops. Played for about 2 hours and only dumped $100. That is almost a win in this town. Played pretty hard and pit boss had my bets rated higher than they actually were.

Almost out of gas but managed to find a bar top...nothing. FU HET! Then I moved to the only 5/9 .25 bank I have found in that place by the poker room and nailed 3-4 more quads. But Beejay was beside me and his luck rubbed off. Lost my $100 buy in. Oh well.

The bday boy is off for a steak at the Cortez Room with some friends and then a trip to Voodo. Only my bday for a few more hours so I gotta milk this!

    milk it birthday bitch!

    :poke:

my luck wasn't rubbing off on you at that craps table?!?!?! how could anyone lose there we were hitting numbers, hard ways, hi lo's everything. then again I did leave with a $600 profit which i promptly dumped into a $5 chaser VP machine.

i think harrah's save the quads for the quarter players.

I'm satisfied with a break-even result, definitely a gambling profit eaten up mostly by incidental expenses as I made it home with $11 more than the starting bankroll. well made it to my car, the parking was $85 putting me in the red.

not sure if I missed the kids more before I got home or miss you guys more now. I am not afraid to say it. those three words...."look another royal" :evillaugh

tell Jason thanks for keeping Versteeg out of the slammer last off season so I can enjoy a big parade on my first day working downtown at this new client in a couple weeks.

of course first thing I did upon my return was drop the hint about July 4th trip which resulted in some minor chirping that can be easily solved by a trip to the Louis Vuitton store. it might actually be above the Coach solution.

and for that matter you can tell baby cakes I know how she likes her purses, filled with that chicken fried steak gravy for french fry dipping! but I might recommend people avoid that Burger Barn or whatever the hell it was, that gravy looked a little rough. I would call that restaurant Bugsy's Revenge.

on the matter of crappy food and general BS, I would like to take this opportunity to help anyone thinking about flying business/first class with points or whatever to skip doing it on the Delta flights that are those 3 seaters (canda air 900 or whatever). The meal was a cold wrap, the seats are weak for upgraded class. Now I've tried the big 3 this year I would rate American a far far #1, United #2, and Delta--pointless unless you need the space due to fat.

looking forward to seeing some of these pics you guys took, well that is the few that are suitable for public viewing.

BJ, do you have that coach bag offer from Harrah's? I have an offer for July that's for a weekend and a free Coach bag 19JT7BAA0H43. Kill two birds with one stone. Pretty Sure Harrah's likes you more then me too........

Indeed I do have that offer, and they should like me plenty. I just checked the web site and I'm up from 11,600 pts to 15,100 pts after this last trip so in 36 hrs in Vegas I basically got 3,500 pts on their scam VP. Luckily the roulette, BJ, and shockingly ms stud subisidized those losses. I think I used about $175 worth of points but still have around $500 so those must have stacked up too.

The big difference is now I have the Go Rooms on free offer and Caesars palace tower room comped all but an occasional Saturday.

Yeah killed me that I couldn't go for the Coach offer - not sure if they vary the type of purse or not - mine is for a 'swingbag' or something like that.

However, I will take my $100 food comp birthday offer, avoid the Burger joint & eat away...........If nothing else, a nice prime rib at Steakhouse 46 will serve to use up those food comps. Hopefully Margaritaville is included too....... And since I'll never make Diamond again I could eat chicken wings every night at the Diamond lounge to get my use from it............

I've noticed for weekday bookings the GO rooms are showing up free for me also. Still I believe a price on weekends. But normally upgraded at check-in or just prior anyway & host put in GO request for me after I booked the standard room (offers only give me standard rooms at Flamingo/Paris, etc.).

I have less time than last two nights but moved to Ceasers this afternoon and scammed a nnice little jacuzzii tub suite for the bday boy!

Saw a guy get sucker punched at the pool today by some drunk ****** bag! This stuff isnt supposed to happen at Ceasers is it?

Got killed last night and my profitable trip is over as I dumped about $800 chasing at MGM bar tops and Bellagio progressives. Whoops.

Got a good start on the night with some quad aces and 2's but could not manage that elusive kicker! FU Beejay!

Theres more but they are kicking me out of the Diamond Lounge. Oh...shots of Petron at NYNY last night saw me toss one of the three 3s I held and then got dealt 3/2. So instead of $200 I won 3.75. Fuck!

Hope you make a nice comeback, great reports from you and Beejay, really making me wish next trip was closer.

Have to agree on the Flamingo pool, even in April, it was completely packed, I don't know if it's the free entry for Bill's customers, or the fact that they are now allowing outside patrons to buy their way in to the regular pool too, but it just seems like a huge cluster.

The Go Pool is a nice option as jgates mentions, but for $15 as a hotel guest and a guy, it bothers me. Hope the Caesars pool is nicer, and ******bags can sucker punch anywhere.
