    My Trip Report

Can anybody tell me if they have had a problem with the timeshare people every time entering and exiting a casino. This past trip I went alone but before that EVERY time. BAMM Would you like free show tickets?....Free Casino Chips ?? It never seemed to end.I would never of thought I would see the day that they were more of a problem then the Homeless.Sheez and the worst part to this is that they lease the space inside the casino so theres noway to report this problem.I have found a relly relly good trick that works if anybody with there spouse is coming to vegas. When they do come towards you are start asking you how long your down ...etc...etc.. just say that your not married and your on a fling from your wife with your coworker. At first the wife got pissed at me but trust me its sooooooo much easier!!

    ;) ;) ;)

I could do without it, but the solicitation done by the time share people, the homeless, the X-rated folks, etc., is all part of the perverse charm of being there.
Just another aspect of the Vegas experience that makes the town what it is.

For some reason my husband and I have never been approached by the time share people. I usually just walk right by them and don't look at them. Maybe we look to poor to buy a time share??? :D ;) By the way, we've been going at least twice a year since 1986!!

Yep!!! They hounded us EVERYWHERE a few weeks ago. It was insane.

I became very good at telling them "NOT INTERESTED!" and walking off before they could respond back. I am not that cold in RL, but in Vegas with those Time-Share folks that was the ONLY way to be.

My husband and I were visiting 2 weeks ago and found that "we're just on our way home in an hour (2 hours, 3 hours, whatever!)" works great. Shuts them right up and they're on to the next people. They seem to forget that we've walked by a bunch of times. Works like a charm! ;)

Ok, I've got to respond to this, because I have a patented response to these morons that works like a charm...not only that, but it cracks up my friends so much they have to make a pit stop to relieve themselves.

One time, just as I set foot inside, one of these clowns stepped right in front of me and started talking. I thought it was completely rude, and I was definately not interested. So my immediate reaction was to lean up close his personal space, drill sargeant style, and yell at the top of my lungs "TAKE TWO STEPS BACK, MOTHERF**KER!!!"

Everyone within earshot stopped to look, and the solicitor just kinda slunk away with his tail between his legs.

Not only did it take care of the hassle, but one of my traveling companions spit his drink out because he was laughing so hard, and a few people walking in behind us gave me a round of applause. I never was approached again.

    Only in Vegas

    Mikey
