Great report! I've got six years to think about it, but I'm not sure whether to introduce the boy to Vegas or not...I'm afraid he suspects its allure based upon my frequent trips. Appreciate you taking the time.

I'm glad to see I didn't bore everyone to death. Living under my roof for 21 years our son was bound to be a degenerate sooner or later.

Thanks again for the kind words.

Holey Moley!!! I have 2 years and less than 30 days to attempt such a replication. Super report. I too got the invite and booked the rooms at the GC although I have not stayed since the rennovations of the shower. Perhaps it works better in the summer. Perhaps not......thanks for a great report...

Randy - thanks for the outstanding read. I really enjoyed the section on booze. I'd probably never try any of those 'cept for the Pappy Van Winkle. I likes me some good bourbon whiskey. One of these days when we hang out in Vegas again I wanna play a little baccarat and maybe sip a fine scotch. Glad you all had a great time.

That would NEVER happen. You are great at writing TR's, I always feel that I'm there too.

(Oh, and L would never let you or your son be permanent degenerates. It is however, compulsory in Vegas.)

Thanks again. I'll pm you our dates for 2009 to see if we can meet up again.

Great Report as usual. Glad you, your son and wife had an excellant time.

How is V3gasjunkie doing? I know you were friends and I miss his posts on the other board. You should try and convince him to post on this board.

Very interesting trip report. Nice booze / cigar selection... you know how to live!
Quick question... my son will also be turning 21 and my wife and I have similar idea. Did you give him some gambling money for his birthday to start with? Is this a good idea ? He is pretty sensible and is likely to just want to keep the cash (pretty smart), so I am not sure what to do about that (if anything!!!):wink2:

We didn't give him gambling money and no I don't think it's a good idea even with the most sensible of kids. He was equipped with his Christmas money from both grandparents but it was apparent he never would have lost all of that. As I recall we paid for just about everything else on the trip, even the bulk of his drink tips.

Thoroughly enjoyed the report, I'm glad it got bumped, thanks for writing it. I too enjoy massive savoring of alcholic delights as a part of being in Vegas that I don't do anywhere else. However, my list would be made up entirely of box wines, so I am in awe of your knowledge and pallet. Thanks again.
