Most of my TC have been earned from sports betting and casino bonuses on the apps. No idea if they pulled my drinks.
They went from giving way too many tier credits for sports betting online to this.

It's super grimy to pull a benefit mid year.

Really if they have a problem with sports betting and poked the simple thing to do would be not give tier credits for it.

The issue as I see it is someone really screwed up last year on the sportsbook TC. I would bet $25 and get anywhere from 50 to 150 TC depending on odds. A few days or weeks of minimal betting and you could reach diamond. CET had two choices, leave the error go and let the players reset at end of this year or pull the benefits from those selected players this year since it was obvious error. I think after there first quarter results being so bad they made snap decision to do the later and pulled now. It's unfortunate if they dd this to true earned diamond players but given there lack of decent IT systems I would not be surprised if they didn't have easy way to determine.

Sports betters….…..;) ….. love sports betting but doesn’t seem the average Joe would be hurting the bottom line. In fact I’d encourage patrons….give it a go. We’ll play the %…. Thanks for your play….

Well, if this is true for 7* (which in reading this thread doesn’t seem substantiated yet), then the Dildo in Dildorado just got bigger and my ass may be bleeding on my next trip.

    good grief.

I don't think it was an error, per say, the T&Cs were clearly listed, they were simply too generous with longshot bets. And this was the case for a couple of years. They adjusted the payouts in early June of last year and they are now relatively market competitive, for sports at least.

These drinks don't cost them more than a dollar or two each and that's being super generous.

No, they don't. There isn't a single establishment opened for the sole purpose of distributing these benefits (now that the lounges have been shuttered). As such the fixed costs aren't at issue here as they're being paid to support the business whether free drinks are being offered to some customers or not. What matters here are the marginal costs of the product provided as part of this benefit and the potential lost revenue from those who would have paid list price for the drinks instead.

On average for what is typically redeemed, I did. And from a marginal cost perspective, I'm correct.

Sports betting was new to my state last year so I did not know it went back that far so I assumed it was an error on their part. It's much closer now to actual casino play, around 2 TC for $25 bet.

this is very typical of how I spend my 4 drink redemptions as well.
I dont drink anything fancy and my beers are free while I play so my 4 free are always gatorade, fiji water, and pepsi :)

But then ended this last year around March.
Yea this was always the rate if you bet in the casino but for a couple of years after they bought William hill you would earn 1 TC for every 5 dollars of potential winnings which was awesome.

Yep seems silly to cut them at 11pm. A bean counter probably found a high number of redemptions between 11-12.

It's not uncommon that we arrive late on a flight, but make it to the hotel before 12 so will likely run into this as a cut...

Seriously though: Has anyone ever bought a milk shake from a Bobby's burger joint with the Diamond 4 drink credit? I was surprised when I saw that this milkshake thingy might be a possibility.

Hopefully Vegas is paying attention to the CER case study and understands excessive cuts /clawbacks alienates people.

FYI Diamond Plus is 25,000 TC. Diamond is 15,000 TC. Diamond Elite I think is 80,000 TC. Seven Stars is 150,000 TC.
