Do you know what the hours are for that lunch at Eataly? I saw that it’s available Sunday, might be a good place for my niece and I to go.
Makes sense! I went into a little high limit slot area on my way out but zeroed in on the Kitty Glitter slot so I didn't notice if there was a bar in there or not
Had a great afternoon/evening with the family in Henderson. I brought the boys the rally towels from the Knights game and some caramels from Saginaw’s. Both were a hit. Caught up with @tringlomane and M including checking out their suite at Bellagio and watching a fountain show. Then played VP at Baccarat Bar while having some cocktails. First $500 buy in disappeared without a quad. Luckily the second buy in was much more successful and I ultimately cashed out even.
I think that menu is good all day Sunday through Thursday. It’s on the other side by the high limit table games. Very small bar, but I liked it. To be fair I like most bars, but found the cocktail at the round center bar at NYNY to be particularly underwhelming.
Oh thank you! I'm a beer gal so I was happy enough being able to find a spot at the center bar pretty easily since I was staying there - not my favorite place of where I went but close to my room makes a difference towards the end of the eve. I'll try out the high limit bar next time!
Looking at how wonderful and high end your food is, I do have a question, have you ever had a meal at a LV Food Court? I doubt you’ve ever had Pick-up-stix.
@tringlomane We must live near each other since you are using Hollywood Aurora as your sports bet, I live in Aurora.
Hey now. I’ve had food court meals a few times this trip - capriottis’s, greenberg’s deli, and the crepe place. Can’t say I’ve had pick-u-stix, but Panda Express is great hangover food.
Worked most of the day from NYNY then moved over to Rampart for the afternoon. The base rooms here are great - this one has a tiny balcony although it doesn’t have much of a view. Really, really love the soaking tub. High limit bar has been fully remodeled since I was last here. It looks fabulous. And still has $1 8/5 BP w RF progressive. Just stopped at Wynn and matched to black status. Can’t believe they are doing it again. Off to Cosmo to meet a friend for dinner at LPM - can’t wait.
I didn't realize Wynn was matching again. I'm glad I didn't because I absolutely would have gone to Vegas just to do a tier match with my one very lonely Cosmopolitan Gold card.
I was originally booked to stop in Vegas on the way home from Alaska to go to Punk Rock Bowling. Maybe if I win a million dollars on my cruise I'll reconsider.
Dinner last night at LPM with @Tarpie was excellent. All tables start with the DIY tomato salad. I had one do the special cocktails - vodka, apple juice, spices. It was unique and very refreshing. We shared the yellowtail carpaccio to start. I had the sea bass cooked in salt. Tarpie had lamb chops. Shared the very, very rich potato gratin. We ordered cheesecake and chocolate mousse. And they also brought a crème brûlée. All were excellent. Everything was very good. The bar looked very nice - I could definitely see myself posting up there for happy hour or a solo dinner.
Watched the end of the Knights game - go, Knights, go! - at the high limit bar at Rampart. Bartender said they just finished renovations and reopened last Sunday. Started with a pink drink, but the cranberry tasted funny to me, so I switched to Kettle One Grapefruit and Rose with soda which was a nice refreshing drink. Gambling was a bit up and down, but I ultimately finished down $400 cash and $100 FP on a little over $15,000 coin in. And lost $250 on slots.
Slept in hard this morning. Love the weekends. Then ran some errands including dropping off my laundry (need to remember to pick it up after 4 today). And finally made it to Lou’s for brunch. This time I had the Monte Cristo. Nom nom nom. Excellent. And I have half the sandwich to put in my fridge for late night snacks. Plans for the rest of the day: nephews soccer game, more errands, evening at Rampart with VP and hockey watching.
