Yeah, even suggesting he will not make the HOF is just plain dumb. Fans don't vote for the basketball HOF. Its a committee comprised largely of basketball executives, hall of fame players, and experts. Those are all constituencies that respect Durant's game. The obvious list of accomplishments here doesn't even include his international success (which is also considered since its not an NBA hall of fame, but rather a basketball HOF)

KD was not the reason for breaking that team apart (Suns).

Not making the HOF???? Where did that come from???

I can see arguments both ways in breaking up the prior iteration of the Suns. Ayton needed to go. He was surly, underachieving, and was never going to be happy being the fourth option on offense. Besides, he really stunk this year in Portland so it was no great loss. Seven feet tall, really only shoots from eight feet in, played over thirty minutes a night, yet somehow averaged less than two foul shots per game! That almost seems impossible for a guy his size with his game, but demonstrates his lack of assertiveness and aggression.

As for Beal, they took a swing and it has not paid off, mostly because of injuries. He was actually pretty good on offense when he played. But he missed, I believe, somewhere in the neighborhood of thirty games. And he has never been a defensive standout. So they were always just going to try and outscore other teams. That's hard to do and win a championship. Now they are up against a really good defensive team and have been thumped in back to back games. Sadly, it looks like the Suns window may have closed (or is close to it)

They did a great job of keeping things quiet (Suns). It all started with Williams being let go.

Don’t let ecvf hear you say that about Beal…LOL

Bingo! Say something controversial—Durant not a HOF'er and suddenly we have interesting posts from several of my favorite sports handicappers. Mission accomplished.

But I do stand by my assessment that Phoenix is the dumbest organization in the league.

Sarver was awful because he was so cheap. I will still give the new ownership a chance for a couple years at least

Hey, we all have opinions on players. I’m not a KD fan either but I wouldn’t say he’s not a HOFer. He falls into my Shaq category. Stars that gave up on their teams…

I do agree that the Suns made a bunch of bad trades. What happened in Phoenix (is the question)?

    What was the mission?

To get more of an NBA discussion going.

And, in case you didn't get my lame attempt at saying something outrageous, I most certainly believe that Durant is a HOF'er, easily, first ballot. He did, however, give up the chance to win at least two more championships by leaving the Warriors. I'm not sure even he could have saved them this year, but they had the team in place to win five or six, in my opinion.

As for this year, I think Denver will be tough, but they'll have a rocky road in the West. Boston, on the other hand, should sail through. I wonder if they even lose more than two or three games in the East.

First thing. I honestly don’t care if someone is right or wrong about picks or opinions. It shows me that the poster has balls to post their opinions. I never take things personally. Even if I don’t know you….

Now that I got that out of the way. For sure they would have won more championships with him. KD left to prove he could win without GS. Guess that didn’t happen…

As far as playoffs. Sure, we can say favourites but like I posted a few days ago. There is no solid team. Any team can be beat. If Zion would man up, I would say NO (surprise winner) but they will probably be golfing by the time he’s ready to return….

MH putting on a defensive clinic. Nothing is half ass.

I cant wait until the NBA gets back to playing defence.

    Dear Laker Fans

We are excited to announce our decision to begin our search process for a new head coach who will take our team to the next level.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Darvin Ham for his services and wish him all the best with his future endeavors.

    Love and kisses

My picks are quite different from my opinion. My opinions are usually off the cuff and meant to outrage the reader. I actually haven't touched NBA betting since 21-22 when I cleaned up on GS and the under in a bunch of games and also had them winning the West and the League. Have really had no opinion since. Not to brag, but if I give out a pick, it's usually solid. I went 33-18 ATS with NFL picks last season.

Of course, I often dabble in baseball and that's what gets me in trouble even though last year I loved the Rangers but only bet the over win total and left lots of money on the table with the pennant and championship. A huge regret, because I knew that Bochy loved his team.

In the NBA, I wish I would have jumped on Denver early last year, but I really didn't realize their potential. Jokic looks like the Pillsbury Dough Boy to me and Murray has always struck me as inconsistent. Boy was I wrong. This year, however, I might take the field in the West against Denver.

As for the Lakers, they should send AD to the Warriors for Klay and Wiggins. LeBron would finally have a couple of wings who can shoot and play defense. The Warriors could send Looney to the largest bidder and finally have a decent big man. See, there I go again with outrageous opinions.

    That was my initial reaction.

If I’m understanding correctly. He’s trolling to create legitimate dialogue. I’m ok with dialogue.

I’m not sure that even Mychal Thompson (Klay’s dad who does color commentary for Laker radio broadcasts) would ever agree to this trade.

And it seemed to work decently well.

I personally just know dick about the NBA, so I have nothing really big to contribute. If I wasn't whoring sportsbook promos, I wouldn't be watching much NBA at all.
