    I may have some photos;)

I had an awesome seat behind Jermaine Dupri and Stephen Hill. I didn’t see the face of the woman Mr. Hill was with, but I’m going to assume it was his wife, Chante Moore. I am so sad I didn’t pay attention cuz I love her voice. The only reason I can tell you their names is because I sat next to a very helpful dude in the know. I snuck a pix.

Mimi was awesome! Highly recommend this concert. It went by so fast! Her outfits were great of course. Dancers were awesome. Band and backup singers also very good. Loved the stage. And she did her high head voice—maybe cuz Dupri was there;). GREAT concert and definitely recommend!

Enjoying your report! FB rooms look nice….but the Sphere view will be a must for all my future trips. I was obsessed with it on my April trip.
I’m sure the Uber experience didn’t help your heart rate….scary. Make sure you take electrolytes ….my heart races when I don’t have enough salt.
Keep fighting the monsters and critters!

It is good but so much food. We couldn’t finish half of it. We both ordered the same thing and could have split an order.

It definitely had me nervous and the language barrier really didn’t help. All he knew was no English.

Of the newer restaurants I have tried my last couple trips, the Bedford is my favourite. I really enjoyed the small plates at Harvest, especially the pork belly lettuce wraps. Mother Wolf was really good and so was Bavettes.

I am almost packed so can enjoy a few more casino hours. I really overpacked shoes and purses especially and didn’t wear half of what I brought. I’ll do better next time ;)

I was hoping to wake up to an “I extended my trip” update;). If not, I hope you get those cows and monsters and a safe flight home!

We certainly enjoyed the breadbasket and pierogis for an afternoon snack. Nice also that Bedford accepts the drink comp. Go get some money to take home. Thanks for the report and pics.

Totes, I agree. Like I said before, ll unexpected lengthening trips usually don't end up well, particularly with gambling. Bad news bears!

I got home around 1:00 am and slept a solid 8 hours. I’ll wrap this up later tonight or tomorrow.

Ok, I’ll wrap this up. Had a great time as always in spite of my heart rate issues. They stopped as soon as I got home and got some sleep so probably a combination of stress from worrying about it acting up and Vegas shenanigans. I have been very clean living over the past year and a half at home but indulge in Vegas. Ya gotta live.

    Hotels Fontainebleau and Cosmo
    Fontainebleau
I really enjoyed my night at Fontainebleau and would definitely stay again. Staff there are fabulous and seem genuinely happy to be there. I filled in the survey they emailed. Within an hour I had an email asking if I could provide more detail on the issue I experienced (paid sphere view room upgrade but turned out there was no sphere view). I responded and advised that I hadn’t brought the problem forward to be addressed as I was only there one night and didn’t want to burn time moving to another room. Again, within the hour I received a response and an offer to contact the individual who responded on my next stay and my room would be complimentary upgraded. Very good customer service.
I like the slot floor and had more luck on the slots here than I did at Cosmo.
I just really enjoyed the bright, new, clean, upscale feel.
When I was leaving to get an Uber, I was struggling a bit with my luggage on the carpet and a Casino staff member (wearing a suit) rushed over to help me with my bags and brought me right out the door to get the Uber. Very nice.

    Cosmopolitan
Cosmopolitan still has that feel of the comfy pair of pants you throw on to lounge but I have to admit, coming from Fontainebleau it felt a bit shabby. I had to wait for my room for the first time and I arrived noon’ish. The promised text to tell me the room was ready never arrived and I only found out after I went to the desk again that it had been ready for a while. Grrrrrrrrr…..don’t say you will text if you won’t.
I don’t love the slot floor like I once did. It has been deteriorating since Kevin @Rio_Chief_Gaming_Officer left and since December has gone down another notch. It was always busy when I was there Tuesday and Wednesday nights so it doesn’t appear the slot floor is slowing down with the downgrade in slot selection.
Drinks, as noted by many, have deteriorated as has drink service. I ordered coffee twice and waited quite a while and the CW just never reappeared.
That terrace is still the big draw for me!
Had trouble on the floor again this trip with homeless people approaching and asking for money. This happened a couple times when playing at the front of the casino (Las Vegas Blvd). Where the hell is Cosmo Security? They used to be handling an issue before you even realized anything was happening. This seems to be becoming a trend as Cosmo. I think this is the third trip running this has happened and it makes me uncomfortable.

    Dinners
Met with VMBers each night for dinner; so nice to be able to do that as I do hate solo dining.

    Mother Wolf
@Jer and I had dinner here Monday night. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, and the company of course. I would definitely dine here again.

    Harvest at Bellagio
Dined here with @Jer and @julia. We shared a variety of small plates and everything was very good. I really enjoy restaurants with the small plate option for sharing and being able to try a variety of food. I hope to get back here on my next trip (if it is open).

    Bavettes
@Christina6001 and I had dinner here before the Mariah Carey concert. This was my first time and I enjoyed it. My husband is a big steak house guy so will definitely be back with him.

Mimi was fabulous. If you get the opportunity to see this show, do it!

    Gambling
I thought I was going to be down much more than I ended up but I guess those small wins add up. I had some luck at Fontainebleau and Palms to offset the craptastic luck at Cosmo. Could barely hit anything there and I ended up low playing Cosmo because of it. Came home down $1100 so not terrible for a trip with no big hits.

The next trip I have booked is with friends in October. They have already booked Cosmo. I have the flight booked but no room. I’d really like to try out Rio for a night or two so may split the stay Rio and Cosmo. I didn’t make it i to Rio to check it out this trip. 3 nights is just not enough time to fit everything in.

Not sure if I’ll get back before October….that summer heat gets harder as I get older.

    Til next time!
