Birthdays, Meet Ups, maybe Whiskey & Gambling Apr 24-30 Vdara & Elara

Just left a few weeks ago, but I heard some board member was getting old this weekend, @MrsIrishDave is getting older than him, our 37th (!) anniversary is tomorrow, and there are a bunch of VMBers in town so we're back to find the money we left in Vegas in March! Wed-Sun at comped at Vdara; Sat-Tues (yes, a night overlap) at Elara in one of their new snazzy rooms on the upper floors.

Dinners planned at Zuma, Bavette's, Lemongrass, and Jaleo. MGM sent me one of their awesome (sarcasm) challenge deals and they'll give me an extra $230 free play to lose if I gamble enough to get about $3400 theo! Of course the usual VP and whiskey. Lots of folks from the board in town, so I expect there will be some impromptu meet ups in addition to @sybgal 's planned one on Thurs at Paris and the birthday celebrations. Might make live posting a challenge with everything going on, but hit me up if you're center strip and want help me lose at VP.

I thought of you today...there was a mixologist on a TV show making a Whisky Sour. He said there's renewed interest of some of the cocktails of old.
I did learn something about how to get the foam which is to shake it w/o ice first (that produces the foam) and then add the ice and shake again. Oh, and he mentioned it can be thought of as a protein shake since it has egg white in it! So, be healthy and get your daily allowance of protein
