Should have posted "Guess how many years?" I would have said at least 3 years, not just 1. Doing one Steak dinner a trip and usually getting the same cut, the price has gone from $68 to over $110 since Covid. They say Vegas is the adult Disney Land and Disney does crazy price increases each year so I guess its true.
The problem is that they are getting it. Why change? I don't have the answer. I wish I did, but if you're in a restaurant, you are at their mercy. If you are casually drinking. You can buy a bottle or beer at store that sells liquor, but that takes effort. We are on vacation. Who really wants to put effort into a vacation? Most people don't, but we are getting to the point where we have no choice.
@LV_Bound - I should have. And to be honest I thought 2 years ago they were 16.99? I was sure I had a pic from ‘22 but went thru all photos & not there. @Gambler4Fun - besides the fact that they do make some very good burgers, I actually go for a nice drink with my drink credits. I had the Skinny Dip first. They were not shy on the alcohol too. I was 1/2 toasted by the time my food arrived (should have had him wait till it came). Then I ordered the Pear & Apple White Sangria which was delicious. I was so full (even after leaving part of the FF & burger) that I couldn’t finish 2nd drink & had no room for the sticky toffee desert. Plan was to go back Sunday night & have just desert & drinks but I realized it was already 8 pm & I was still up by Harrahs. Oops.
Pre-Covid we used to stay at PH and eat our first meal at Burgr. Always purchased their milkshake which was awesome. Back then it was expensive, around $14 IIRC. Any idea their current price for a milk shake? What are the current prices of burgers? Did they go up as well or was it only the drinks?
Sigh! And that it's just in the past year or so makes it worse! They should tack on some fees on top of that. Thinking of starting a thread to post your "favorite" significant price increases.
Since most everyone is now Diamond, most drinks are priced at $24.99 in most CET owned restaurants. Consider GR burger behind the curve
Those prices don't seem bad for a celebrity chef joint in a casino. I never go to that place though. The service was bad even pre pandemic so I can't even imagine it now.
If it is a good drink and presentation, I don't mind paying a premium price on the strip. What I don't get is anyone paying $27 for a mediocre hamburger which is what is offered here.
@LV_Bound - Sorry for delay in replying. Work decided to overwhelm me after my trip! Hope these help.
