Thank you! I was just going to post asking about this. Have it booked and will now feel better knowing it’s worth doing.

Great video and pretty reflective of my experience there.

I was able to go to the Country Club brunch before it was no more. I'm considering going to this as well.

I think it's definitely similar to the Country Club brunch. The CC brunch had a carved meat station and I recall a station for made-to-order waffles and pancakes. This brunch doesn't have those stations but it has many more mini-entrees that you can order so you are covered with the same type of food but just served differently.

Not always but for some of the brunches at Lakeside they had also the same band perform that performed at the CC brunch.

@Flowers I'm hoping the quality of the seafood is better than the buffet and that they have some king crab :feedme:

Also haven't been in Vegas in April in like 10 years. 80% of the time I go in the summer. What kind of clothes to pack? Too cold for summer clothes?

It's transition time. And, every year is a little different

Early April, plan on high 60s and low 70s. May want a jacket or sweater if outside at night. By the end of April pretty well into shorts and short-sleeves season.

Thanks. What about the temp inside the casino. Do they still have the heat on? Or is the a/c pumping yet?

I don't think it's too cold for summer clothes. I think summer clothes work well in April (especially if you run warm body temp wise), even though early April in Vegas CAN run cool (though still warmer than NYC).

The main thing I sometimes struggle with is the color of my clothing when I pack for Vegas in April, not the weight. If I'm there in late April/early May, I feel like I can wear white, including white linen if it's hot, but early April summer-colored clothing can look a little odd relative to what Las Vegas residents might be waering. On flip side I wear summer-colored clothing (e.g., pinks, corals, etc.) in mid-late September in Vegas if it's still hot but I note Las Vegas residents are often in fall-colored clothes.

Reasonable people can totally differ on this but yeah, that's how much I overthink my April and September packing!!

For my May trip it's easy-peasy; summer clothing in color and weight all the way with a big shawl and at least one sweater for the chilly flight, theaters during shows and the casino if I'm chilly.

My wife tends to bring a sweater. She gets chilled at most restaurants.

Last year I went 2nd half of April, just as I will this year.

Last year saw pool weather if a bit windy on all but 1 day. Hot enough to be enjoyable, but not blistering hot.

This year forecast seems a bit less…

This is me!! I totally over think clothing choices and then I end up over packing of course. May to Sept is easy for me since it is 100% summer and I'm used to going at that time.

Good info about colours. There's no rule about packing but now colours will be a consideration.

@Flowers I assume that April weather is warm enough for flip flops and sandals?

Early April is spotty. Right now, next weekend (8th-9th) is supposed to be 20-22C for the high. 11-12C for the low.

Yeah, if a casino feels warm inside to me, then something is wrong with their HVAC imo. This goes for any time of the year tbh.

Now April 6th. One day too late for the craps meetup but we should meet up again.

I'm there April 12-16. Staying at Bellagio for 3 days then the California downtown for the last night. Video Poker mainly.
