Are We Just Not Getting Four Queens Offers For August?

I called to ask and was told they are still working on August offers and nothing shows on their end. It is July 11 for crissakes.

 

I haven’t received a thing yet either

 

Come on now, they just got one guy who works in the postcard-printer-room for both properties, who has to review each individual postcard by hand, and I understand the copier ran out of toner or something.

 

On the Gambling with an edge podcast from a few of weeks ago, Dancer mentioned that 4Q & Binion’s were planning on combining their slot clubs starting in August. Could be the reason for the delay.

 

I hope this does not dilute the offers.

 

Great so instead of 2 buckets of $300+ in comps I will never get through, I will now have $700 total I will never get through.

Sigh. I should just book a suite and clear them out

 

Dancer said "August 1st" so just around the corner -- maybe.

I know you are joking but I love the fact that Binions and Four Queens have two buckets of free play for me. Do you really think after it is combined, we will get anything equal to the sum of the monthly free play we have been getting?

I don't remember ANY slot club reorganization which had benefited me personally -- I am looking at you Boyd Rewards.

 

I would care a lot more about a merge if Binions would reopen the main tower. I hate losing room comp options. But as it stands, I won't stay at Binions.

 

It is probably taking them a while to combine 4Q and Binion's on the computer as one player's club without screwing up the transition on August 1. Then they have to put the offers for both joints on 1 mailer instead of the usual two cards.

 

Probably true but it is not as if they had to combine the slot club offers by court order. They had years to try to work this out and no specific deadline they had to meet.

 

I wonder if it will be like club one where the hotel and free play offers are separate based on play at that specific casino or if it will be like boyd where the free play and hotel offer will be combined at your chosen.

I kind of get that, but at the same time - have a plan in place for when people call. You don't need the actual mailers, but give the employees leeway to mirror your July offers or SOMETHING so I don't have to stay on the Strip.

 

I'm not making excuses for them. A little info would be nice. I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to get my room next month like everybody else. I saw the 2021 on the link but didn't recall seeing it before.

 

How many Queens does it take to put together a mailer? they have 4 of them!

I just called on Monday when they were working on it, so I would not expect anything to have shown up already. I also get offers way later than everyone else so i suspect that IF anything comes, I'll already be in Vegas when it lands in my inbox. Guess I'll find out by inserting my card into a machine if I have August free play. Sigh.

 

At this point, something has to be happening with 4Q/Binion’s clubs, right? I don’t think Bob Dancer would be saying anything if he was merely speculating, and we still haven’t seen any mailers yet, which is unprecedented at least in my experience I just would be shocked, if not a bit worried if it was just another monthly offer (if they couldn’t figure out what they were doing until this late in the game, that would probably be a sign something is off )…
