Going to be downtown on a Wednesday evening. Will need Uber pickup around 10pm from 6th street/ The Commonwealth/ Le Thai area. If you're familiar with downtown, can you get an uber in this area or do you need to go to a specific location near there for easier pickup? If you've been to Fremont recently, is it difficult to get an uber back to the strip at this time?
    Thanks!

I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago and faced a situation similar to yours. I was on Fremont Street, needed an Uber, and wasn't sure what to do.

What I ended up doing was to go to the valet area at Golden Nugget (very close to the location you described, and just a quick walk down Casino Center Drive from Fremont) and called the Uber. I texted the driver "Golden Nugget valet area." It worked out OK.

There was a 15 minute delay or so, as he was finishing up a ride at Circus Circus, but the delay was acceptable to me.

This was on a Sunday around noon.

There might be an Uber pickup spot closer to where you described, perhaps, but maybe the location I described is good enough for you. It can't be too far of a walk.

    Hope this information helps.

I would think El Cortez would be a good pick-up spot.

The El Cortez is right there. They use to pick up right outside the front door at the hotel entrance. You do not have to go inside and there are a few places to sit

El Corte is the best option just across the street...

or walk toFSE between 4Q and the D hotel parking entrance is another safe spot..
