    My Trip Report

With all of these great trip reports, and the fact that I have been living vicariously through them for 3 months now....I'm getting our plans together.

Day 1: Arrive at around 830am Vegas time....put our traditional $20 into an airport slot machine to see if we win anything.....we haven't yet, this year I seem to be having many Vegas dreams, so my gut (and my dream) tells me to try a $.25 Wheel of Fortune slot....grab bags and head to the Bellagio in the Bell Trans shuttle. Check in at the Bellagio, slip a $20 to the clerk and score a lakeview room (this is my positive thinking kicking in...). Settle in then go for breakfast at the Stage Deli in the Forum Shops....walk around the shops for a while and maybe try a little luck at a few slots or maybe Blackjack. Catch the bus or a cab to Downtown and spend the afternoon people watching and checking out the casinos. We have never been. I will have one of those hot dogs for lunch...well, at least hubby will.....and a few margaritas! Catch the bus or cab back....eat a fairly in-expensive dinner and get ready to see Howie Mandel at MGM. After the show, head back to the Bellagio and stay up late playing BJ and hope we come out ahead for the day!

Day 2: Wake up around 9am (hopefully) in time to have some coffee and a light breakfast before heading to the Spa for our massage which begins at 11. Afterwards, have lunch...but not sure where yet. Spend some time walking the strip (We WILL be checking out the Vince Neil Tattoo Shop) and then to the 3pm Ronn Lucas show at the Aladdin. Walk back to the Bellagio and have dinner....maybe at Olives, then enjoy some time watching the fountains from the Fontana Bar. What follows is another late night of Blackjack and slots.

Day 3: Breakfast again at Stage Deli (we always eat there twice) and then go down to the South end of the strip. Another dream tells me to play $23 at a Munster's video slot at the Monte Carlo....then over to NYNY to play our favorite Elvis slots....down to the Luxor, visit the King Tut thing and then to Mandalay Bay to see the Shark Reef (these are all things we have never done but plan to finally). Somewhere in there we will have lunch....make our way back to our area of the strip and spend a bit of time at the pool. Afterwards, we'll get ready for our 5pm dinner at Joe's Seafood House in the fourum shops before seeing Danny Gans at 8. Not sure what that night has in store after the show, but we do get $25 free play with our room promo so maybe we'll see what luck that brings us.

Day 4 (last day! *sniff*): Basically a day of walking around saddened by the thought of our 6pm flight home.....last minute shopping for souvenirs and counting our $ to determine if we are coming back ahead or not! LOL Maybe a few last hands of BJ......Ok, I can't even think about the last day right now!

Well, when we come back and I post our actual trip report.....I wonder how close it'll be.....of course I won't mind if the actual report includes sentences like "I stuck $20 in a $.25 slot and scored $1500!" or "Hubby had a hot streak going at the BJ table Tuesday night" etc...you get the picture...

Geez....33 days still seems so far away!!!!!!!!!!!
