    Well, I am shocked.

I just had a decent offer from Cosmo and I've literally only spent about 4 hours in there.

What are my chances of calling and asking if I can get a similar offer for October? Slim to none?

This may solve all my problems haha.

Isn't there a lovely Cosmo chap on VMB that may be able to help me?

    Thanks all

That sounds like an awesome deal! I would wait to see if you also get some room discounted rates....then see if you can combine that $200 resort credit per night. Cosmo has sent me things like this:

    Congrats regardless!

    Thanks @luck.ofthe.draw :blowkiss:

I could wait for my next batch of offers, but I was trying to get things all booked now. I wonder if anyone here has asked about extending an offer date and if it works?

@WelshBlonde - I haven't asked, but it never hurts to try! I say go for it!

I had the same offer for very little play and used it twice. Once I took the City Room (no balcony) and the second time I asked if I could upgrade to a balcony room. The desk clerk figured out the price of my comp and gave me a price for the upgrade. It was pretty reasonable. A few years back a friend of mine who is local said that they were making a big effort to get more gamblers into the casino and were passing out pretty easy comps to anyone.

Thats good to know thanks. I would love a fountain veiw and with a comp I may just be able to get one.

Do you have any input on calling to take an offer up outside the advertised date?

In my experience, Cosmo has pretty short windows on their offers but will continue to send the same offer several times. So you'll likely eventually get the same offer covering the dates you want. I understand you want to get everything booked sooner, can't hurt to ask.

I got a Cosmo offer after staying at PH and giving them very little play at Cosmo during that stay and I’ve been at Cosmo ever since

I have never heard of them extending the offer beyond the window but occasionally the slot club will know if you’re on the list to get the same offer again.

That looks awesome! So question -- have you ever actually paid to stay there? or did you just stop in and play for a few hours while staying somewhere else? I'm also trying to figure out how to start getting some offers from them, but not sure whether I should pay for a night and stay there and hope for backend comps? or just go play for a few hours next time I'm in Vegas and then hope for some comps after that.

    TIA! And congrats!

Thanks for all the advice boys and girls. I would just call but it costs a fortune from the UK and I know you guys know more than half the customer service reps I speak to anywhos haha.

I will try emailing them first me thinks..

@Astribling I've never stayed at cosmo, my only visit was about 6 months ago where I signed up for the players club, went to the buffet and spent maybe, 4 hours ish on slots. I don't think I even played any VP there.

Most of my comp experience is downtown but I always give them the play first and wait for the offers to follow. It’s worked for me at the D, Downtown Grand, Golden Gate and El Cortez.

Lucky you. I seem to be the only one, but my Cosmo offers have been getting worse and worse the last 2 years, despite a slight increase in coin in (+25% or so on a per trip basis). I've been going there since their soft opening though, so maybe they feel like they've already got me? I decided to move to CET this year as they matched my Cosmo Gold last year and I rather enjoyed the Diamond perks.

Thanks @WelshBlonde! I know I can get a comp at Caesars so I think my next trip I will just try to visit Cosmo for a day and see what comes of it. Good luck with your trip!

For years I've been getting offers, usually a new one has come before the last one expired.
My last offer expired May 8th but I haven't got a new one, the last time I gave them quite a lot of play
and my host was happy to take care of some additional charges so I was expecting to get at least some kind of offer.

I'd go ahead and email Identity if you don't want to call. They've been known to book people under offers that expire a week or two before a player's stay would begin, but those were established players. They do have short offer windows and for them to book you 6 - 8 weeks beyond expiration would be pushing it, but it's not a huge offer, so maybe.

Have a look at the Money Saving Expert website. They have a section on calling abroad. I have international on my phone plan, so can't recommend any numbers, sorry.

I almost certain they will send the same offer before this one expires.
I have the same offers for about 2 years.

    Finally got a new offer for August 2, 2018 - September 26, 2018., so during a 3 month period there's no offer.
