I wouldn't mind going somewhere nice to do a little dancing. Nice placethat doesn't think loud music is more important than good. Any thoughts?

Do you have a preference for a type or genre of music? I like Carnaval Court at Harrah's, but the music can be loud and I'm not sure it's "nice". Can you be more specific in your request? It will help get you better answers.

Thanks. I like Carnaval Court. Very lively. I don't mean ballroom dancing, but I don't want to go to a place full of 21-year olds and feel out of it.

we are a bunch of dolts in our 40s and we had a great time at Voodoo at Rio in August, so fun to be outside. Hopefully they are still open!

Carnaval Court is great, but it gets warm in the spring and more so as summer approaches. The Cabaret at Paris is kind of an all-ages (adult that is) venue and they usually have a band there, most often a pop-funk type of group and they always have people on the floor. No cover, no goon at the door, no bottle service, none of that bovine poopoo! Drink service can be irregular and spotty when it's busy. (Just go to the bar.)

Yes, the band can be loud, but not obnoxiously so.

Cabaret Bar at Paris is small so get their early, but DH & I (55 & 52) love both bands that play there--wide variety of danceable music from 70s-today.

Lately it seems confusing as to which band is actually playing, as on the last trip I saw the one bass player with both of the bands! :)

Oh man I take my wife to clubs... but they are pretty much same in my opinion we been to club in Paris, called Cheatu and within club they have another one called Garden which is outside on patio of Paris since it was outside even music was playing loud we could stil speak and able to enjoy ourselves this option was ok. Just my 50 cents, also HYDE was ok as well, but then all clubs were loud and playing silmiar music.

He looks like one of them but don't recognize the other guy. We find the Generation band every year....usually at Paris...had to go downtown to the GN one nite during last trip in April....
