Video Poker Mandalay Bay VP Question

Hey folks!

Just trying to refresh my memory...where's the Island Bar and Mizuya Bar located in Mandalay Bay? I stayed there about a year or so ago and was in there briefly a couple months ago. I recall the VP Bar on the other side of the Bar where the DJ plays (Eye Candy maybe?) Is that Island Bar? Or a different one? I remember a VP Bar by the Sportsbook...I was looking at some 99.17% Bonus Poker referenced on the vpfree2 site and it referenced Island and Mizuya Bars, trying to remember where they are. Anyone know? Thanks!

 

I'm not familiar with an Island Bar at Mandalay, but Mizuya is a sushi bar/lounge just off the casino floor. It is at the back of the casino towards restaurant row. Follow signs to the buffet and you'll get close close.

 

You are correct about the Island Bar being on the other side of Eye Candy. It's on the side towards House of Blues. It doesn't show on their property map but Mizuya does.

It's pretty easy to locate both bars from anywhere in the casino.

I go to both but I personally prefer the Island/Center bar. Less crowded, more mellow/No cover bands playing, always a better experience with the bartenders.

I have not seen that VP bar open by the sportsbook in years. At least on the weekdays.

 

I have always seen the bartops at the sportsbook open. The island bar is next to eyecandy but a night you can hear the DJ in eyecandy. I like that myself. Mizuya does have the cover bands playing and I often like them but I think I am getting old as even when I like the music its often too loud for me to play nearby.
