    My Trip Report

SUNDAY: March 26th Oakland Ca., ETD 6:35AM, SOUTHWEST $99.20
Cab to RIO $15.00, ETA Registration 8:45, favorite Standard Suite on
the corner was ready at 10AM/13th floor, Pool-Strip View.
    RIO WORLD BUFFET LVA/POV coupon w/friend $25.85.
    HAIRSPRAY at Luxor $80.00, CAB R/T $24.00.

MONDAY: CAB to Flamingo $17.00, Monorail to LVHilton R/T ticket $9.00.
The newly decorated Hilton looks great! New Registration and Boxoffice
counters, new carpet and all new 'blonde' finished slot machines.

Monorail back to Flamingo. The train is a bit rough, seats are cement hard,
but the stops are well anounced and it was fast. Waiting time for incoming
trains was short, ticket machines are easy to use, and terminals were relitively convenient.

They were having a little problem with one of the doors however...
I overheard one of the mechanics saying there wasn't any problem, he
had take a bolt off one of the wheels to replace the one missing on the
    door...ride was uneventful.

I've never been inside the Barbary Coast or have ever seen BIG ELVIS,
...did both this trip, another 'check-off' for my to-do list.
Walked to Caesars/got a CAB to RIO $10.00.

'Toscano's Deli' at RIO has been replaced with MAH JONG Chinese Noodles
and a small Deli to support the Sports Book.
MAH JONG was a disappointment...overpriced fast food and the Deli doesn't live up to the old Tosscano's at all........The have however, added
much nicer table seating all round that area.
They're open til Midnight, but there's better quality and later hours now
at the ALL AMERICAN BAR AND GRILL.
Their bogus Cafe has such strange hours and is never open late...eating
    there was never an option.

CAB to 10:30 ZUMANITY $12.00, ticket price $95.00. After the Show,
walked to Bellagio for a late night snack in the Conservatory Cafe.
Right now, it's all decked out in Tulips and a huge, beautiful, sprawling
Banyon Tree...surrounded by those wonderful arching fountain streams.
    CAB to RIO $10.00

TUESDAY: CAB to WYNN late afternoon, $12.00. Got my RED CARD,
earned the (now) 150 points for new members FREE buffet...lol, that
free buffet cost me four hundred bucks!
    I saw AVENUE'Q' at 8:00 $99.00 and LE REVE at 10:30 $121.00.
    CAB to RIO $11.00

WEDNESDAY: FREE shuttle from RIO to Harrahs for MAC KING's 1:00
Show $9.00 w/billhere coupon. Monorail to WYNN, $9.00 R/T for that (free) buffet at 4:00.
...the $400.00 free buffet is only $31.95 if you don't get it for FREE!
I don't do many buffets...just not my thing. It WAS GOOD!, lots of
choices, nice layout and excelent table service.
'King Crab Legs' seemed to be the 'STAR' of the buffet...everyone seemed
    to have some...I didn't.

WYNN provides (on his own private road) free shuttle service to the
Convention Center Monorail. There's a short walk to the Terminal
between dimly lit building-back-sides and parking lots...it was night by then, and I'm glad there were other folks walking with me.
Next stop MGM's Hollywood Theatre and CHICAGO, $90.00.
    CAB to RIO $11.00

THURSDAY: CAB to PlanetAladdin $10.00 for 6:00 FAB FOUR, $59.00 VIP.
Walked nextdoor after to 'Krave Nite Club' for 9:30 FASHIONISTAS SHOW $65.05, walked to Paris after for a CAB to RIO, $11.00.

FRIDAY March 31st, 1:35 flt. to Oakland, $99.20, CAB to McCarran $18.00
    ETA HOME...4PM.

My Total Rewards Platinum rates at RIO were FREE,FREE,59,59,65.
I took a $2,300. bankroll, minus the $179. for ground transportation,
which left $2,121. for food and gambling...I brought four hundred home.
I only had two days of good VP play...the others, I just couldn't pull any
    good cards........slots were slots.
GOOD TRIP, LOTS OF SHOWS, LOTS OF FUN, next trip June 4th.
I'll put some Show thoughts in Shows/Entertianment.....

Thanks for the report and also the show reviews. The Wynn got me and Kathy for a couple hundred. Maybe you will hit the big one next time. Gee, we keep saying that about the Browns and Indians here in Cleveland.

    Great report Greg!

As always, don't know how you manage to cram so much into such short trips.:nworthy:

How was Chicago? Was it worth the money to see them?

What's on the agenda for your next trip?

    Hey Gary!...CHICAGO still kicks ass!
Hollywood Theatre is a much better room than they had
at STARDUST, it should work well for them! They sounded
great...new album out, did a few songs off of it and all the
old favorites. I sat in the first upper section off above the main
floor...tabel for 4, I was on the rail facing the stage.
Nothing planned for June yet...checking the RJ's 'Neon' there's
not much there yet except 'Riba' and 'Hermin's Hermits' LOL!
...in other words, no reason for you Son to change his wedding
    plans (YET)
