Now that the VMB Wristbands are out there, who will be the first members to have an impromptu meet up? This would be a great place to share your stories.
I did recognize TimSpeed and his fiancé at MSS for the meetup before their wedding. Saw the wristbands and said hello. I did have my Vegas Message Board golf shirt on.LOL
Finally a sighting! Congrats Nittany1 for being the first. I still have a few weeks before my trip and will be wearing mine.
It SHOULD come with a disclaimer on alcohol intake and recognition......I know....a wristband with a breath-alizer tube or somesuch which would allow for understanding of overindulgence and LACK of recognition.........but then gold toning wasn't going to stand up so why should this?
I had my MB polo on this July and a man who was not a member started to talk to me about my postings. This was at the bus stop near the M&Ms.
Didn't see any wristbands NYE week....so disappointed. Hope to run into other members....yes, I wore mine the entire trip.

I was playing VP at Boar's Head at MSS last month and a guy walked up and asked what the wristband was for. When I told him he said I read that board all the time, but don't post much. My first and only encounter. Don't remember his board name.
I've worn my band religiously during several trips and not once have I spotted another or been approached by someone from VMB; that is, without a prearranged meeting. And most of my stays have been at Boyd/Coast casinos, which evidently are pretty popular among other members. The only inquiry was from someone who asked if I belonged to some diabetes group! I'll keep wearing it, but have to say that the lack of response has been disappointing.
I have met a few board members who spotted me wearing mine. And several dealers have asked me what it is. But I don't really keep an eye out for what people are wearing on their wrists
I'll be there in this afternoon proudly wearing my wrist band. I can't hold my arm up for any length though. LOL
Just after the bands came out I was in Vegas in March 2015 and I was wearing my wristband all the time. I spotted one guy with his band on in a elevator in the Bellagio and said hi (sorry can't remember who it was). I'll be in Vegas and staying at the Bellagio again in March 2017 so I'll be on the lookout for other board members. I'm a pretty gregarious person, so I will say hi to anyone with a VMB wristband.
Well I'll be wearing mine at Cosmo, Bellagio (HGS), and Mirage and spots in between from Nov 29 thru Dec 5 and will keep an eye out for the green, but must say I have never spotted anyone else wearing one yet either. Could the fact that I'm usually slumped over a slot machine and wearing a sweater (which sometimes hides my band) and often oblivious to others around me have anything to do with not being spotted or my spotting others? I will do my best this trip to seek out at least one VMB wristband.
