I hadn't checked MLife for a few days, but saw a new Corporate offer in my account today.

It was better than my last one.

    • $25 bump in Freeplay, from $150 to $175
    • Boost in Resort Credit, varying by the property
    • Boost in Room Type, varying by the property

And this is after I basically no-played a one-night stay in July.

Already had a regular king room booked at MGM Grand for January with $150 Freeplay and $100 Resort Credit. Cancelled it today and booked a Premier Suite at Luxor with $175 Freeplay and $250 Resort Credit

My corporate offers got worse :(. I was lower on my play from a July trip but much higher from my mid Oct trip. Hoping maybe that one not factored in yet. However, my property specific offers from those 2 trips were higher.

I finally got corporate offers. We are primarily Total Reward players but my husband had a conference in July and we stayed at Mandalay Bay. I went with him and spent extra alone gambling time. We had been upgraded to Platinum at MLife through my Hyatt Diamond match so it was a nice reintroduction to MLife.

However I just found out that next year MLife will only match up to Gold for Hyatts new version of "diamond". I almost earned Gold in that trip (was less that 2,000 points away). I have a dilemma now.

We are booked for Planet Hollywood for New Years but my Mom and her boyfriend are coming with us. They want to use some of their MyVegas comps so I am considering a few days at MLife with them using recent offers, but am really conflicted cause the loss of Hyatt Diamond/Mlife Platinum status match renders MLife less valuable in the future for us.

What to do? What to do? These new offers makes the choice to abandon MLife again harder.

STP I wouldn't let the difference between Gold and Platinum be a deterrent. Platinum only gets you priority taxi and valet services and the platinum experience voucher, that they never seem to hand out. Platinum really isn't much of an upgrade over gold. I have noticed no difference in the past 3 years that I've gotten to it.

Agreed, you don't get much because, now there are more options to get higher levels without having to do or pay much.

Also has your mom already booked the myvegas room. The chances of getting one over New Years i think is zero.

We are thinking staying a few days before News Years and then head to Planet Hollywood on the 30th. The 28 and 29 seems to be reasonable at either Aria or Mandalay Bay. Staying there would allow us to get some of the Myvegas comps that require stays. My fear is checking in later at Planet Hollywood would put my comped premium hip fountain view room in jeopardy if I move the reservation from the 28th to the 30th.

In my heart I know that at our play level it is best to stick with one players program to get the most out our stays, but I kind of hate to ditch one or the other.

Yup mine went up as well. My Aria FP went from $150 -> $250, and Resort Credit $100->$200...

Like OP, I barely gambled at a Mlife property recently (10k TC vs normal 100k) for a 3 day trip, so I was surprised to see my offers go up.

Hmmm...so mine has stayed the same. Can I assume that a trip at the end of September might not be included in this? I had 4x the coin-in I usually do so was really hoping to see an increase.

My guess is end of September would be right on the edge. But unless you are talking about $400 coin in a day vs $100, I'd say your offers should definitely go up based on 4x previous play. So good chance it wasn't included.

Thanks for the reply. More like $4000 vs $1000 so hoping to see something.

Thanks for the heads up Chuck to check Mlife. Just booked our 5 night stay at MGM in an executive King Suite thru the corporate offer. Healthy amount of FP and FB included. My September trip was finally taken into account on this offer. Curious to see property specific offers will hold!

Congrats Chuck! You had some bumps on your last trip, so I am really happy to see you get a little bump up, versus down.

If you remember, I would love to hear your thoughts on the Luxor premier suite after your trip. We've kiced it around a few time's but I always go back to tried and true, but I'd absolutely trust up your judgement on the room! It won't be out next trip, but down the road.

Congrats again and have a GREAT next trip!

Ps for others, my spring 2017 offer went down a little from the 2016's spring corporate offer (despite more coin in), though I did have 3 handpays on my big 40 bday trip...and I've never had one in my life, so I can't complain! :)

No change here. 3 comped nights NYNY and a little cursory FP/RC. Doesn't matter anyway as I'm booked through my next two trips comped at TR joints. Interested to see what happens to my Milfe offers after I ignore MGM resorts for 6 months.

When can we expect to start getting the property specific offers?

My Aria direct offers usually come out between Nov 9 and Nov 18th like clockwork.

BUT they've thrown in a few semi-cruddy direct offers in the past two months, so I'm uncertain if this will "upset the apple cart" on early November timing for spring direct offers.

I'm waiting to book my corporate until I also have. My direct offers, so I'm on pins, and needles too!

Even though I didn't love the Luxor casino the couple of times I passed through, I always wanted to try that suite because I thought it was a great value. I was a little leery of it being scuffed up and it was hard to find current pics/videos. It looked for a long time like they still had a CRT TV in a huge armoire in the living room, and a tiny one in a riser at the foot of the bed (which was kinda cool 10 yrs ago, but I'd always be afraid the lift mechanism would be busted, lol).

But being able to get it comped made it a no-brainer, because I was planning to go over there on my next trip anyway so I could get some property offers. I'm still trying to work MGM out of my rotation without totally burning the bridge. I want to be able to play less with them but still get nice rooms I can use to fill in a couple of nights during a trip.

So I've done a little research since I booked. There's two versions, the regular Tower Premier (1,050 SF) and the Deluxe (1,200 SF). It looks like they've refreshed both and mostly de-themed the regular version.

The Deluxe version has an extra 1/2 bath off the entrance. They both have wet bars with personal fridge. They've taken out the old armoires and TVs and replaced them with flat panels. In the regular version, it looks like they've wall mounted a screen in the corner of the living room and off one wall in the bedroom, which is like nails on a chalkboard to me, design-wise, although I can see why they did it, it does save a lot of space. In the Deluxe version, the living room TV sits on a credenza-type thingy and in the bedroom, they laid a slab of something on top of the old pedestal at the foot of the bed and put the TV on that.

The difference in the rack rate on Fri-Sat is about $100/night. So I'm going to see if I can wheedle an upgrade in advance; if not then I'll probably do it when I get there.

I "stayed" (I always double book, you know what I mean) at Luxor's tower premier suite and Deluxe suite.
I thought they were very nice. Lots of space for sure (I was solo) . I never turned on TV, so can't comment on that.
I did use the coffer machine and fridge to store cold drinks.
For paid stay, I have to agree they are good value.

I can't complain. Been 2 years since I've gone and just checked and had $150 free play and 3 nights suite and $200 food/beverage. Booked a trip for Super Bowl weekend
