Ditto. I didn't recall ever hearing Marryin' Sam before, but there was only one answer that sounded correct.

A marryin' Sam is a type of con artist. Because of the super lax laws to get married in Vegas, a marryin' Sam is a guy that sweeps a lone woman off her feet. Gets married at 2:00am while they're both drunk and spends the rest of their week in Vegas mooching thousands of dollars off of her for gambling and living it up...then he disappears. A marryin' Sam could have quite a few aliases and quite a few wives.
Wikipedia says it's the guy that conducts $2 weddings in Vegas (old stuff) but I always heard it's a hustler gig.

Oy Vay - I got a 100 (although I did guess on marryin' Sam) -
Must have learned a lot of those phrases by osmosis over the years - not bad for a slot slug.

Oh my gosh Geo, You are SOOOOO banned from labeling us with that term! Can't you call us a Vice Vixen, or a One Armed Bandit Charmer, or Penny Slot Princess or even a Champion of Chair Warming? "Slot Slug," though cringably true...is so, so bad. (But I am still grinning!)

Slot slug is just one letter away from my real persona - but I didn't want Sonya to move this to 'After Dark' :wink2::wink2:

Hey @Multifarious5 - see my new countdown timer? :woohoo: ( that's how a slot slu'g' rolls ) :evillaugh:

Oh my gosh, I knew, knew, KNEW you'd squeeze in one more trip! You ROCK Geo, have a blast for me too! We're not going until March...I'm already having withdrawls!

P.S. Try the Brittany slot at Cosmo next time. It's dorky, but it is so fun, and when it's on, it is ON. (Just get off when cold.)

P.P.S. just saw your play on words, that fits both of us on our slots playing style. The waitresses even know what beverage I like...and some recognize me on a NEXT trip, not due to anything bad, just due to how long my fanny is camped in the casino. So...not...good. You can be Slot Slug, I'll be Slot Sloth...just "hanging" around!

    100%.
But not overly difficult for anyone who has spent more than a few hours on Las Vegas Boulevard.

Welcome to the world of standardized testing in education... doesn't prove you know anything, but you can pick the most right answer.

I got hundred percent not bc im vegas-knowledgeable but bc I was easily able to eliminate the silly choices.

Would have no idea if someone uttered some of those to me if I was in a casino. ."where's the carpet joint?"
Me: "uhhh..right here, see where this piece of carpet is lifting off in the corner?"
    :)

100% too. Say, isn't the guy in the initial picture on our board? Or maybe he was on LVA or another board. Forget what his name was.
