Favorite Knock Your Socks Off meal. Vegas Edition.

Let's go with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, if you so choose.

Doesn't have to be fine dining or anything more than just loving it because you were in Vegas and it was excellent.

Breakfast: For me: Bouchon at Venetian. The Eggs Benedict. Orgasmic. Just great.
Hubby: Margaritaville: French Quarter Omelet with a Bloody Mary. Up on the second
floor. Enjoying the people watching and various walks of shame. Priceless. I don't think
they serve breakfast at that location anymore and that's a shame.

Lunch: Me and Hub: Country Club/Wynn. Beautiful waterfall/golf course setting. Hub loves the French
Dip. Me the Country Club sandwich. Get the Par for the Course cocktail. You won't be
disappointed. The Truffle potato chips are Out Of This World.

Dinner: Hubby says it's the time we had "Dinner with Steve" at Sinatra/Encore. Fantastic service,
great ambiance and excellent food. Wynn was out with his entourage on the patio while we were
dining at a nice corner table, inside.
Management was on point so they gifted us with a nice CD of Sinatra songs and a
book of Wynn and Sinatra photos. A lovely and lucky night.

 

You are making me hungry @ardee - sounds like some fine dining experience at Wynn with Steve so close by - nice!
Can't wait to see all the responses - will be out there next week.

Breakfast - agree with Bouchon - love their house made jam and French toast with sausage.
Lunch - ok to laugh but I do love Shake Shack for lunch - basic burger, fries with cheese, vanilla milkshake, yep!
Dinner - Le Cirque at Bellagio - risotto is my absolute favorite thing - it could be my entree! The sea bass is excellent.

 

Just coffee and pastry: Palio
Breakfast: Mon Ami Gabi (on the patio) - country pate with cornichons, seafood crepe (very rich), and sauvignon blanc
Breakfast 2: Bouchon - beignets, beignets, beignets, and coffee
Lunch: basically same as above but labeled as brunch
Dinner: SW Steakhouse (by the lake) - any steak
Late Night: Any casino/hotel 24-hour café having either eggs over easy and bacon or pie and coffee

 

Breakfast - tend to either not be up at breakfast time or playing poker. When I have had breakfast usually food court eggs. So that probably doesn't count.
Lunch / brunch - always try somewhere different especially somewhere we don't have here in the uk. So last trip Bobby Flays burger palace, Popeyes, the Mexican place in the container park ( don't know the name but very good authentic Mexican) etc. Looking forward to trying wahlburgers and in and out in September.
Dinner is always a special occasion. Even though I travel solo I make a point of having a great dinner so last time giada's, Lupo, circus circus steakhouse, Julian serranos and Gordon Ramsey's pub.
This time it's Joel Rubechon, lotus of Siam, spago and tender ( steakhouse in Luxor).

Can't wait. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Just as well I'm off to Jamie Oliver's tonight.

Breakfast--one of those giant cherry danishes and coffee at Palio

lunch-- don't eat it

dinner- LeCirque any thing there but love, love their risotto. Changes with the season and the last time, it was lobster..OMG...bring me three more!!

 

Sounds like a good list for your next trip. If you've never been, I'm here to tell you, you're gonna llove Lotus of Siam.

 

Breakfast - Mon Ami Gabi
Lunch - Earl of Sandwich
Dinner- CUT

 

Breakfast - Giada's or The Henry
Lunch - Grand Lux or Palms 24/7
Dinner - Alize or N9ne

Have only been to Giada's once a couple of weeks ago but plan to make it a must do in future. The others have always been consistently very good.

 

Breakfast: Bouchon
sourdough waffle with caramel bananas, chantilly cream, served with vanilla bean butter & crown maple syrup

 

I wholeheartedly agree. It doesn't matter if it's a fine dining place or casual, an excellent meal is wonderful in Vegas because the people around you are excited, happy, and the air is filled with electricity. It's that rare vibe that can only be found in Vegas!

 

Oh man don't get me started on that risotto with lobster. Another was the risotto with beets - not exactly the kind of place to lick the plate clean but ...we actually went back two nights later.
Le Cirque is not the kind of place my husband normally chooses - he's the 'grab a salad or sandwich' guy but he asks to do Le Cirque every trip - so next week headed there for dinner. Nice thing is the 'Prix-Fixe Or 'Pre-Theater' menu for the times we don't want to spend quite as much - very reasonable with good selections. And the staff is awesome every time..

 

I had the one with the beets also---maybe sometime last year. I felt that it couldn't be as good as all the others as I am not a beet fan---too earthy, but I was not disappointed. And I agree with you about the staff. Those guys are amazing and down to earth. Nothing pretentious about LeCirque, although people might have that impression.

 

This is really wonderful to know. I like eating at nice fancy places but feel more at home and relaxed when the staff makes you comfortable. Pretentious places might be enjoyed by some but I don't like those kind of places. And I would love to try their lobster risotto.

 

Breakfast: Augustus Cafe/ Caesars Palace. Peanut Butter/banana French toast. Restaurant is no longer there.

Lunch: Terrace Point Cafe (encore/Wynn)

Dinner : The Cut (Palazzo)

 

We used to frequent Augustus Café for some late night snacking before going back up to the room.
The Turkey Club helped absorb all the alcohol from the evening's festivities. Good Stuff.

 

Yes we really miss that place.

 

What says "Vegas" for us are these two items :
Meals at Giadas
Getting a Fat Tuesdays drink.

 

Sadly - my favorite dinner place closed - I loved
Le Provencal at Paris for a truly delightful dinner experience - especially
during the Holidays. They had singing waiters and they sang Italian
Christmas songs during the Holiday period. It was wonderful - along
with the best service and food. I loved their steaks. Such a cozy, nice
place.

Now -
Breakfast at Mon Ami Gabi or Paris Buffet
Lunch - we don't usually do lunch - like a big breakfast better - but I love Grand Lux if we do lunch.
I prefer the one at the Palazzo. If we want to stay closer to Caesars - like PF Changs at PHO for lunch.
They have a great happy hour menu - smaller plates and bowls called lunch bowls.
Dinner - Love Palm in the Forum - exceptional service - and for a really Wow dinner
the Eiffel Tower restaurant in Paris is a great experience with the best view. We've had
the corner table twice overlooking the fountains and it is beautiful at night.

 

Unless my breakfast is at 1 in the morning, I guess my favorite would just be a big cup of coffee at the Dunkin Donuts at the Fremont. If I'm hungry, I might grab a breakfast sandwich. Otherwise, give me a cheap buffet since my breakfast needs are pretty basic.
For lunch, I lean towards a good sandwich. Have very much enjoyed Bobby's Burger's Palace or Carnegie Deli. Or just maybe a pizza at 800 Degree Pizza.
I'm going to say I'll go to Mr. Lucky's at the Hard Rock for the Steak n Shrimp special for dinner, unless my dinner happens to be a dozen beers at the video poker bar.
Mr. Lucky's is also good for a late night meal but I think I lean towards the 24/7 coffee shop at the Palms or really a couple of slices of pizza most anywhere.

 

You guys are out of my league, but I'll mention two from my recent trip.

Magnolia's Steak and Egg Breakfast. Always a winner and you can get a discount with a Players Club card.

Shrimp Scampi at Grand Lux. Not your Mama's Shrimp Scampi. Huge succulent shrimp with pasta in a rich but subtle Garlic Sauce. Manga!
