Comp info for TI?

Anyone staying at TI these days? I haven't been there in over 5 years and was thinking about popping in and giving them some play.

Can anyone tell me what kind of play they're giving and what offers and backend comps you are getting?

 

I posted this the other day when someone asked about TI comps.

I find them to be very fair. They know that they compete against the multi-property players and, to me, it seems like their slots are fair and the comps are better than most.

Just a quick example since I gamble the same way on the same machines wherever I play. I have been to vegas over 3 dozen times and I worked out my averages last year.

At MGM properties I get about $8K coin in per day on their slots. I rarely ever go belly up on any given day and I find their slots to be fair. I have hit for $1K or more 9 times with them. The most being $10,365.00. My offers are usually 3 nights comped everywhere and $100 in free play + $100 in food. I bounce around from one MGM casino to another each day and that hurts my offers. I'm Platinum there.

At Venetian/Plazzo I get about $6K coin in. I go belly up most of the time. I have never hit for over $300 on 4 stays with them. I get the nice room comped for 3 days and just $75 in free play. I'm no one there.

At CET I only get about $5K or less coin in. I go belly up nearly every single day with my bankroll. I have never had a winning CET trip in almost 10 years. I have never hit for more than $400, which I have done twice with them. I get a room for 5 days at any property. I used to get $400 in free play but post bankruptcy its down to $200, sometimes $100. I am Diamond with them.

At TI I get at least $8K coin in per day. I rarely go belly up. The slots are more than fair (for strip standards) I have hit for $1K or more 3 times and I have only stayed with them 3 times. I get a petite suite for 3 nights and my free play is always stacked. $250 in FP + $150 early booking bonus + slot tourney or mystery spin days and such. They are the best value, to me, in Vegas.

Some people dont like staying/playing at one place. I'm one of those people. I never stay more than 2 nights at TI since I want to spread my wings in town. T CET it does not hurt you to gamble at any of their properties each day. Its all lumped in to your ADT. At MGM it does hurt your property specific offers and it brings down your corporate offers as well.

I play all over the place. Currently 7 Stars with CET and stay mostly at Caesars with them. Currently Chairman with Stations and play at Red Rock and GVR. Currently Platinum with Cosmo. Currently Gold with MGM, but it will expire at the end of September because I don't play in their system anymore. I also play at Four Queens and Binion's (but don't stay downtown), and a little at Westgate. Oh, I almost forgot -- I play at Rampart, too. I go to Vegas a couple times a month (drive from So Cal) and normally book multiple offers for my 2 night stays.

This is my dilemma right now: I have a solo trip booked at the end of July where I have booked an offer at Mirage for just 2 free nights (pay the resort fee) with $50 free play and $100 resort credit. I booked this before my Gold card expires so I don't have to pay for parking, but I have no intention of giving them enough play to keep offers coming from them. I won't reward them with play for being such cheap jerks with this parking situation. Anyway, I also booked there to use up the remaining Express Comps I have in my account ($154) and a gift card I still have about $43 left on. Also, to use up some of the MyVegas points I have since it's so difficult to find ways to use them now. So, I got the free LOVE ticket, a free dinner buffet, Secret Garden, and Carnegie Deli rewards (I get 4 per 30 days). I plan to go downtown and do my Four Queens and Binion's play and I'll probably dink around in the Mirage casino a little after the 7pm LOVE show, but other than that, I'll need somewhere else to play.

I could book a CET offer at Harrah's for $400 free play and walk across the street to play, but I'm only 3005 points away from reaching 7 Stars again and don't want to finish it off yet (plan to do that in August while there for the 7 Stars Signature Event). I could book my Westgate offer that gives me a whole $90 per day free play, but then I would have to drive over there each day which could be inconvenient. So, I was thinking of taking the tram over to TI to give them some play, but I'd love to know more about what people are getting for $20k to $30k (or more) on video poker for offers.

 

$20K-$30K ON video poker at TI will get free room nights and some free play, not sure how much.
They have some "full pay" VP machines, but with reduced points.
My impression is TI's theo setting on VP machines are not high.

 

So, what you're saying is that they set the theo low on the machines so it takes more coin in to generate decent offers?

 

I'm doing $10K a day on VP average, mixing it up, bit a blackjack, bit a slots, getting 3-4 nights and $200 free play fairly regularly.

I stayed there Super Bowl weekend and played craps at $90 per roll, and tipped well. I had two sessions the first night, probably 3 hours. I asked how they rated me and they told me bought in with $1K, $55 per roll for 45 minutes. I was comped on the front end, and I don't know if they take that off, but I gambled elsewhere the entire weekend, except I gave their sportsbook my SB action.

I suspect they reduced comps for the free rooms on such a busy weekend, and I suspect a busy weekend mistakes are made.

I'll probably get free rooms again next Super Bowl, but nothing about the place excites me, including pr restaurant choices. But I'll take tehir rooms for SB weekend though.

My experience could have been a one off based on what everyone else is posting however.

 

I have stayed and played at Ti for our yearly Vegas trip for 5 years running now. I find their room offers to be very fair. I play several hours daily on their .50/$1 "good" machines and a little on the lesser paytable gimmicky games. I can always count on 3 free nights (including weekends) and $150-$250 in free play. Usually I get a nice strip view room on a high floor. Comp rooms don't require a resort fee. As far as backend comps, no, I don't get any. I don't remember the exact number of points needed per day, but it was higher than I could earn playing mostly .50.

So, for a good location with fair comps and good (for the strip) VP paytables I have been very pleased.

 

I heard from a friend who just stayed there that they require 3000 points per day to cover your room before any backend comps will be given. That's $13,500 coin in on VP just to cover a normal room. I was planning on using this as a low play place, so I may have to reconsider. Still not positive what I will do on my upcoming solo trip at the end of the month.

 

3000 points sound right to me. On the good VP machines, that's $45k cion in per day. That's why I said their theo is low.

Its also only $4500 on slots to get a room if their math is correct.

I can tell you this, my wife has never gotten more than $2K per day of coin-in on a slot and she regularly gets 2 nights comped in mailers all the time. She is a $0.75- $1.25 per pull player. If you are new blood, I bet it wont take much out of them to get some decent offers. Especially if they are just kicking the tires on you as a player.

It sounds reasonable.
Theo of $2K coin-in on penny slots is about $200-$240, and 1/3 of it would be $67-$80, which is enough to cover a comped room.
With $4500 coin-in on penny slots, she should get comped room and ~$100 free play per trip.

 

I should of specified $25k per day coin in on video poker.
