    I buy in at 1K.

Pass Line: I'll play $25, 2x odds on the inside, and 3x on 4 and 10.

As far as the rest, I switch it up. More recently, I would do one pass line bet with odds, and then buy the 4 and 10 for a quarter. If they hit, I take it. If it hits after that, I go up one unit each hit. Sometimes I'd just go across all numbers. Depending on what numbers I have, maybe go iron cross. Field bet, though I typically avoid, was very good to me last time.

Other times, I'll play the come, starting with 2 numbers, maybe 3.

This is what I do to try and maintain through cold tables or choppy ones. Once it starts to warm up, I start to get aggressive.

Probably why I don't tend to lose my entire bank roll. I think the time where I went down 7K fast was b/c I just came out of the gate hard. Buy in 1-2K, pass line, max odds, come bet, max odds, and seven out. So my betting is more progressive now. As high as you feel with the larger wins, the feeling of super cold tables is worse. I try to ride those out. Enjoy my time whether it be winning or losing.

I have a trip planned for early April. Five nights, essentially six full days. (early arrival, late departure). I plan to bring between $1800-$2000 USD with me. That's for gambling, food, everything. Might be able to stretch a couple hundred extra for this trip.

Will cost me about $2400-$2700 Canadian.

I don't think about a daily BR because I really don't play much to speak of. I'm usually in town for a week each time, but I stay with friends the first two nights with friends and spend a lot of time catching up. Usually we'll go out to SouthPoint for some VP by the second or third day. Once I get to my hotel I generally play for an hour or so before breakfast and then run around during the day or play golf. After dinner I play again for 2-3 hours.I usually play VP in the .10-.25 range and $5-10 passline craps. This really limits my exposure a lot. I normally bring $1200-1500 for gaming and can't remember the last time I came home with less than $500-600. I just get bored after 2-3 hours of playing, even if I'm up. I can safely say I'm a low roller.

    Good Luck!

If you have good discipline and restraint you should be good. It's all about the expectation and what makes you happy

I typically have $200-250 per day for gambling, $100 per day for food/beverage and $30 a day for tips. If I get comped meals, I may shift some of the F/B amount to gambling. Other than my first trip in 1999, when I knew nothing about gambling, I've never come home down more than $300 from gambling on a 3-4 day trip. I play poker tournaments, $0.25 VP, $0.25 Three reel slots, $5-10 Blackjack, some craps and some 3 Card Poker.I use the TR credit card for points for meals, SW credit card for flight points and the ACG/LVA Coupons to stretch my bankroll. I love making a game of how to get the most exciting experiences for as little money as possible.

I don't think about a bankroll except in terms of the amount I am willing to lose in a single betting session. For the big picture, I think it is more reasonable to consider how much I am willing to lose.

I never go to Vegas for more than three days. If I start off on a losing streak (going 0 for 2 in table sessions means losing $400), I am done for the day with table games, and can start fresh the next day. I will supplement that with $250-300 on baseball bets for the day, from which I might lose another $200 on a very bad day.

So in the absolute worst case scenario I am going to lose $1800 in a three-day trip, although if I had two days bad enough to put me on that pace, I think I would probably hang 'em up and focus on drinking on day three.

1K per day, mostly play craps. I'll usually get 5-6 $300 buy-ins per day out of that, and rarely lose it all. Depending on whether or not a particular joint rates the odds bets, most places rate me at $40-$50 per hand. Some days I win, some days I lose. I'd categorize that as on the very low end of mid-roller I guess. Whatever, it's kind of subjective.

According to VMB, I'm a low-roller. See - it says so right under my name!

Last trip was three nights... my total trip bankroll was $2600...since I won on that trip, I'll probably be going again in June or July... trip bankroll for that one will be about $900/day, assuming another 3-night trip.

I wouldn't say bankroll to be categorized as low/High Roller, More of how much you bet per hand. Under 50 low, under 500 medium, 500-2k high, 2k-10k high high, 10k whAle

Gambling bankroll is $1k per trip + $300 per day. That is my trip roll, not split up daily since daily allocations could mean I'm done gambling after an hour. I just look up my risk of ruin prior to each trip, and so far I've never had to revisit the ATM. This is enough to play $10/$15 BJ for a few hours every day.

We both play single line quarter video poker and allow $400 per day for gambling. I'm not sure what that's considered as far as low roller, etc., but we do manage to keep Diamond card with CET and Gold with M Life with this method. We would allow more per day but want to spend as much time in Vegas as possible.

i think I'm a mid-roller. My BR is typically $12-14K split up into a daily roll of $3-4K. my average bet on craps is $185 a hand

We try and make it last, but sometimes we will start out in the morning with $100.00 each and it can go pretty quickly if neither of us hit anything. We try and save the remaining $200.00 for an afternoon session and hopefully have better results. Sometimes it lasts a couple of hours, and sometimes if we are lucky and hit lots of 4 of a kinds, we can make it last 6 - 8 hours. Usually between the two of us, we do manage to hit a few things to get to play at least 3 - 4 hours a day.

Goodness, I've had luck staying even on gambling but now you guys have me worried that I'll lose it all in Vegas. At most, I'll lose $200 a night and that's inclusive of food and drink with coin in right about the $1500 mark. I plan on going more aggressively with gambling but I don't want to be hitting the ATM every second, ugh.
