Hmmm...does this work well and should I use this? I am checking in tomorrow at Aria and knowing that this weekend is probably going to be a busy weekend, what do you think? I am in the invited guest check in - so should I just wait and do that?

I always check in at the desk so I can try the $20 trick for an upgrade. If you aren't trying to do that, you should be fine

I have done the early check in and highly recommend it.

I saved probably 45 minutes wait time to check in.

How does this work exactly? Do they just charge the room and incidentals to the credit card that you booked with?

If you are an invited guest, why would you need to do this? There is no line at all where the invited guest go and maybe you could upgrade like we did and get to go to the Tower Suite lounge for snacks and drinks anytime.

Sorry to hijack here but who all is considered "invited guest"? I'm coming out in a few months on a comp offer, would I be considered "invited"?

Good question Mindcrime. I was there on a comp but didn't think I could go there. Don't know but I never see anyone in that invited guest line like I do the regular line.

Funny story about the only time I've done this at Aria. When we went in December I got the mobile checkin e-mail and since we were going to be arriving late I figured why not and did it. When we got there about 8PM I walked up the spot they have reserved for mobile checkin and she noticed we had a corner suite. She told me and I quote "there's no fun in checking in this way, go into the lounge and make them check you in." I appreciated that and I thought it was funny.
