I visited Vegas in March last year and did play with their players club card but never received anything from them in the mail or by email. Do they not send much out in regards to comps or discounted rooms? Usually a casino will send you at least a feeler offer after signing up the first time but I have received nothing so far.

Stayed there for the first time 2 years ago. Bought a 2 night stay and gambled the heck outta the place hoping to receive some good offers. Got a few postcards for discounted rooms, but nothing worth any value to me.

We always received decent offers before we moved here. They really don't do too much for the locals. Unlike the M, Stations and the Boyd properties, SP relies on convention and special event business so they don't have to do too much for either locals or (apparently) occasional visitors. Too bad as we would spend a lot more time there and $$$ if they threw us a bone once in awhile.

One other tip is that if you stay there next without a comped room and feel you have some substantial play, stop by the host on your way out and you have the potential to get the room and/or food comped...we did that many times.

Thanks for the information. I guess I'm not alone in receiving no offeres. I plan on stopping by there next month for a little VP.

I think you have to spend more than a few dollars to get their mailers. They send them out every 3 months. We get them regularly....but we stay there for 2/3 nights and spend tons on their slots. My MIL also would get mailers though usually not for quite as much as ours. If I remember correctly it took 6 months before we received our first mailer from them. Their website shows the executive hosts and their emails. If you plan to stay and play there send them an email. Honestly we get junk for offers on the strip....South Point gives us comped suites and free play plus some free food. My husband and I play off the same account at all properties. We are NOT high rollers, combined the husband and I have a gambling budget of $600 a day. In the past we could make that $600 look more like 10X that running through winnings at SP.
