What kind of coffee makers are in Flamingo Go Rooms?

Staying there rather than Caesars for the second half of my upcoming trip so that I can get $450 in free play rather than attend a concert at Caesars. I know Flamingo is a major step down from Caesars (and I'll be staying there after 4 days in the Encore Tower Suites), but I'm looking forward to the stay. I like the size and location of the casino, the Diamond Lounge, my favorite masseuse in all of Vegas (who works at the Flamingo Spa), and having breakfast at the buffet watching the fish and other wildlife. I may give the decent Double STP machines in the high limit room a shot. Most significantly, during my very first trip to Vegas in the spring of 1991 I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton. I had a great time and have been hooked since!

So, here's my basic question. I saw from the website that there are coffee makers in the room. Are they Keurig coffee makers or those coffee makes with coffee in those plastic trays? I'm hoping it's the former because I was going to bring some Keurig cups. Thanks!

I was in a fab room at the flamingo last week, it wasn't a keurig, it was that type with a plastic tray. By the way, I don't get the hate on for the fab rooms. Mine was clean and comfy, granted not as pretty as the bellagio........but I had a strip view on the top floor, the view was freakin' awesome!.......

Not a Keurig but some weird kinda machine, not like a Mr. Coffee either. I couldn't see a way to use anything other than the provided coffee packets. This was around 2 years ago so hopefully they have changed them by now.

For the tray type machines, I have started bringing the coffee singles found at any grocery store. These are NOT instant coffee packs, but are packages similar to tea bags. Just set the single in the tray and run the water through or steep it in a cup as you would tea. I bring some sweetener or steal some from the restaurant and I'm set----

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am not super particular about coffee but I find the coffee in those trays to be really weak and it sometimes has a plastic taste. tfcoach72, thanks for the tip. I like coffee when I first wake up, LONG before taking a shower, getting dressed and heading downstairs to grab some. And phantom, I know what you mean about the views. I will be in Vegas on NYE and I hope for the view that you described, in which case I may just watch the fireworks in my room! Even through the windows I will hear a little of the firecracker boom!

For sure the plastic tray type. We always leave a few dollars for the cleaning staff with a note asking for more coffee. They have always taken care of us! A little milk from the small convenience store behind the Flamingo and you are all set for a great start to the day!

Starbucks Via for me. They're not even that inexpensive. It starts the day with a reasonable cup of java.
