What is the strip like on Labor Day Weekend?

Whats the strip like on labor day weekend, any places to avoid that are too crowded?

All weekends are busy in Vegas.
Multiply "busy" with a long weekend and also the first week of college football and it will be crowded.
During the day walking the strip is very doable, however sidewalks will be congested later in the night.
Bottlenecks are always near Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano and such places.
These areas don't have to avoided, just be aware it may be slow going if you are trying to get somewhere time sensitive like a show or dinner reservations.

My first trip with the g/f started on the Sunday before Labor Day. Seemed much more like a Saturday that day to me. It died down pretty quick for Monday night and beyond though.

We were there last labor day and it wasn't bad at all.
We have seen worse.
I have heard the weekend after labor day should be a madhouse with some big events going on.

 

The Strip has a lot of energy and movement on Labor Day - giving it a good vibe, in my opinion. If you're looking for good show tickets, the A and B sections are already gone. And, dinner reservations at the popular spots are too.

I will also be there for labor day weekend. Exprct big crowds over that weekend. This is kind of the winding down of summer in vegas. Pool parties and nightclubs will be jumping
