    Hi all,

Is gordon ramsay steakhouse worth going to or are there better paces in vegas for steak around the same price range?

Also if you have any input on his gordon ramsay burger restaurant that would be appreciated too.

I do watch his masterchef show and hells kitchen in the past, but if there are better places will pass this up anytime.

    Thanks

I thought prime and stk were better. Prime was awesome with a an awesome view of the fountains on the terrace and the best sauces I have ever tasted. Stk steak was great and had the best Mac and cheese and mashpotaotes ever. They have different vibes
Take your significant other to prime and friends to stk.

Ramsay's Burger Joint is Awesome! A little pricey but was a great burger.

Gordon Ramsey Burger is pretty good his Pub and Grill at Caesars Palace is over priced and not that great, have not been to the Steak House just seems to be a lot of options at that price range and after the Pub and Grill experience chose the others.

You will get a bunch of different answers on what steakhouse is better. All the top ones use USDA Prime beef and probably get them from Pat Lefreida. So unless your getting some unique cut or a Kobe steak they are all pretty similar. I have been to Ramsay Steak, Prime, Strip Steak, Heritage Steak, Cut, and Craft Steak. I honestly can't definitely say which one is better. They are all a little different, but all are excellent. No place can bat 1.000 so you will occasionally get s server having s bad day, an off night in the kitchen, etc. if you like GR then check out his place.

Gordon Ramsey Steak is definitely worth going to. Pricey but worth it if you go once in your life. I got the Hells Kitchen menu consisting of Beans Salad, Sticky Toffee pudding, Beef Wellington. Don't know if they still serve it but it was awesome.

I think both are great. If you don't eat at GR Steak, just go one night, sit in the bar and get a drink/coffee, and a sticky toffee pudding. It's soooooo good! One is plenty for two to share.

I quite liked Gordon Ramsey Steak, and if the price tag doesn't scare you (as it would with other top steak places) I'd certainly say its worth it.

But there are several other places of comparable quality.

The one thing I ought to mention is atmosphere. Compared to other places, Gordon Ramsey Steak has kind of a modern feel and lighting to it, and plays music fairly loudly. So it is a great place to get a steak, but if you are looking for a romantic or celebratory dinner, you'd likely be better of at Delmonico, or Prime, or SW.

PS> If you go, get the Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert.

Ramsay's steak place is worth it just for the sticky toffee pudding. I could live on that stuff....if I owned a fork lift to hall myself around.

Pretty much every hotel on the strip has a steakhouse (many have several). Most are very good, if overpriced.

Of the ones you have mentioned, I liked Craftsteak and Delmonico and haven't been to the others. My favorites on the strip are SW (Wynn), Carnevino (Palazzo) and Craftsteak (MGM).

But there are plenty of good ones. I would go to the various casino websites and check out the menus. See which ones strike your fancy.

Also, the search feature is your friend. "What is the best steakhouse", or some variation, is one of the most common questions on this board.

Friend just ate at GR steakhouse at Paris the other night - said it was excellent. She used her Diamond dinner voucher - small steak, vegetable & sticky toffee pudding & I believe she was around $98.

For a couple other suggestions, BLT Steak has been getting good ratings - it's on my to-do list if I can free up a night. I have eaten a few times at Center Cut at Flamingo & it hasn't failed or disappointed yet - always good.

That is the truth. The best STP you'll ever have, anywhere. The ribeye disappointed me, compared to Prime, Strip House, N9ne etc, but both times I've visited have been excellent meals/ experiences. The attention to detail is apparent everywhere in GR Steak. The staff is amazing, and the ambiance is very Vegas.

GR Burger isn't at the level of Holsteins or BLT. Not even close. GR Steak is worth a visit, however.

I pretty much agree with what Nick said. Ramsay steak is very good, but there are better joints. I've been to most CET steakhouses (ate at the old ballys steakhouse but haven't tried BLT yet) and, in my opinion, Strip House at PH stands alone. One of the best meals I've ever had, anywhere. That said, Ramsay is definitely worth a try.

Same with Burgr. Very good and worth a try, but nothing that's going to knock your socks off. Im somewhat of a burger fanatic....burger brasserie at Paris was just as good, and I've had a number of better burgers in my hometown of Chicago.

I have been to Craftsteak and Delmonico and would put them on a par with it. Difference is mainly atmosphere.

i did a comprehensive search on the forums and found that delmonicos is most favored followed by craftsteak, not much said about gordon,

also as a cheaper place, people are raving about circus circus steakhouse

i definitely plan to visit 1 high end steak place, with the possibility of another in the same trip, but most likely will choose between delomonico and crafsteak or the both

thank you also for the tipoff about holsteins shakes and buns, this place looks absolutely wonderful!! definitely going to check that out too!

prime, and Strip House, N9ne dont seem as popular or famous as the above

also no body has been to the chain del friscos double eagle as i mentioned, im not very fond of going to any chain, but you know this place has very strong reviews on yelp, a whole half star above prime, and Strip House, N9ne and with double the reviews

have thought about SW wynn but this place is kind of off my list as we are not very fond of steve wynn, especially since he runs his casinos tight, honestly the little lake show, i did a youtube search, it doesn't seem that spectacular?? To the credit of SW the service, food, and scenery was excellent (according to many reviews), but i wont be there.

    keep the ideas coming

My wife is a big fan of Ramsey's TV shows so as soon as she heard he was opening a steakhouse I knew we were going. Our first visit was right after the grand opening and my wife ordered his signature dishes as seen on his show. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and after the meal I think we both were a little un-impressed. They were very busy on our first visit so we went again the following year after some of the hype died down and again I didn't think it lived up to the hype. We go to Vegas at least twice a year and eat out at a nice steakhouse at least once during our stay. Our favorite so far has been Delmonico's and Craftsteak.
