I plan to be playing a lot at the GG this weekend. I am moving my play from another downtown casino. I mostly play table games. Since I will be starting from scratch, what has everyone's experiance been with their program? - Is it a pont system that can be used for food and stuff or will I need to check in with a host at the end of the trip? - I am looking to get a free room for my next trip, so what would be a good minium bet and gambling time in order to reach this goal? Anything else you feel I would need to know? Thank you!
I have found the Golden Gate to be more than fair with there comps. You will earn express comps as you gamble that you can use at Du-Pars, but you have to go to the players club and have them print out a comp voucher and take that in with you to pay. I find they give out there most basic rooms for fairly small play say the $10 a hand range. My last trip I average $35 a hand for a little over 4 hours a day, I get comp offers for a suite, $50 free play, $25 food credit. The standard rooms are very small but the suites are very nice, and Dupars is the only restaurant on site, but the food is very good.
Are they sticklers with midweek rooms vs any day of the week when playing at that level? What are the mins in the HL room?
For my next trip I have planned July 24-27 which is a Friday to a Monday I contacted them about a suite, the host was more than willing to book it, I ended up taking a better offer at the Golden Nugget though. During the week the high limit room offers double deck with DAS, DA2, and H17 for $15 a hand, that goes up to $25 on the weekend normally. Also you get larger drinks in the high limit and you can get red bull by the can.
No need for a voucher from the players club to use express comps you earned any longer. Just give your players card to the cashier at Du-pars
Was told I could do it in June last year but only worked once, they had connection problems or something. This April I did it about 10 times, no problems at all.
