How crowded is Downtown for First Friday?

    Just noticed this Friday is First Friday Downtown. Looks like you have to go through a check-point, show id (over 21), and get a wristband before entering Fremont Street.

    We have a 6:00pm reservation at Redwood Grill and tickets for the 8:00pm Earl Thomas Conley concert at GN.

    Will we have any trouble getting to the concert on time?

    Things will be busy. Typically, Security does not add a lot of time. But, when it does, it's easy to sidestep what's happening under the canopy and enter the venues you want from the side streets.
