MyVegas Where are the MyVegas phone operators?

    It's unfortunate that wait times seem to be increasing significantly. :( Overall I've had better luck earlier in the day.

    I called yesterday morning, about ten minutes on hold. The operator was great, no rooms available for the nights I wanted. She checked and found both nights available at MGM or Luxor. She refunded my rewards while I got the new rewards, set me up then redeemed my show tickets (Zumanity) In all about 35 minutes on the phone. Then in the afternoon I called to set up a night at Red Rock, just a few minutes on hold, but not available the week were going. But GVR was on a different day, So I bought it and was refunded for RR. In all very easy it also helped that the first operator had a very sexy accent (Aussie) and was so nice and helpful.

    I ve called 3 times now and gave up after waiting more than 30 minutes. Very frustrating

    We called on Easter Sunday for rooms...waited only a few minutes. *shrug*

    Booking Room Success

    I had heard the horror stories about being on hold for an hour or more. So I settled into a comfortable chair with a book. Before I could get to the page where I had left off, Andrea from My Vegas was asking how she could help me. What a wonderful ambassador for My Vegas is Andrea. She was very friendly helpful and courteous. In no time I had my July room at the Luxor booked.

    You probably called in the early morning. Last time I redeemed points, I called after work and was on hold for an hour. Called back instead the next morning before work, got someone in about 30 seconds.

    I just called at 2:15pm est to redeem show tickets and she answered right away, didn't have to wait at all

    The reward confirmation email I received a couple days ago says 6am-10pm Pacific, daily.

    On hold 39 minutes (and counting) right now for show tickets. For hotel reservations last weekend, I was helped within a minute.

    45 minutes on hold and another 15 with the Rep.

    Saw the Luxor was available for 18,000 and low and behold, the date was listed as available! Redeemed the points, followed the instructions on the email and called. Everything was going great until this:

    "I'm sorry Mr. Jer, the Luxor is not available on that date."

    "Are you sure, I'm looking at a available dates list and it clearly states it is."

    "Again, I apologize, is there another date I can look up for you?"

    "No, please, can you check again I'm wondering why it would say its available when it really isn't"

    "Sir, I've looked three times and there is no availability for the date you are requesting.."

    "Is there someone I can talk to that might be able to help me out with this dilemma?"

    "Sir, where are you seeing that this is available through MyVegas?"

    "It's right on the website it takes you to. Available dates in Yellow. Is there someone else I can speak with about this?"

    "Huh... Oh wait, it is available for your date that is great!"

    "Book it before it disappears please..."

    Done... One more night extension in Vegas for the resort fee only.

    Glad this worked out for you. But, as an FYI just because it shows as an available date on the calendar (ie in yellow), that doesn't necessarily mean it's still available. My understanding is each property releases a certain number of room nights to myvegas and once those are used up, they are gone. So if all 30 (random number) myvegas nights for Luxor July xx are used, they won't let you book and you have to get a refund on your LPs.

    This is why it's good to buy and book as soon as you're able.

    booking a NYNY room took me about an hour and a half on hold, I had it on speaker and was literally picking it up off the counter to hang up when somebody came on the line.
    booking a Red Rock room took all of 5 minutes, somebody answered the phone right away.

    I was on hold for literally 2 and a half hours last night before I got ahold of someone at about 10 pm. AND they gave us the worst seats at the Zumanity show. They were so accommodating with our upcoming shows in August - Carrot Top and Zarkana. We got good seats. But this time they dropped the ball. I'm not really that excited about the show tomorrow anymore.
