My wife hates when I make brinner, but she doesn't cook so I suppose she has no say in the matter. The little man loves it so we win 2-1! Just had maple sausage, bacon and a Serrano pepper omelette. Scrambled eggs for them. Who's with me that brinner (breakfast for dinner) is just awesome?
I've never heard the term "Brinner" before, but it's nothing new in our home, something we've been doing routinely for years.

Every once in a while I crave breakfast food for dinner. "Brinner", lol! That's a new one for me. I used to just holler "Let's eat Breakfast for dinner!!!!"
I have never subscribed to the arbitrary rule there are certain foods for morning or evening (other than I want coffee as soon as I wake up and now that I'm old I cannot have caffeine after ~3) I prefer savory in the morning - today I had a spinach salad topped with an egg for breakfast. I also love Asian breakfasts - a little miso or dumpling soup? Yes please! So eating an omelet for dinner - sounds great! My mom loved to make pancakes for dinner.
I'm down with that, I actually had an omelette and a handful of Jimmy Deans for dinner last night. Topped with goat cheese and hot enchilada sauce. D-lish!
I'm the opposite. I am reluctant to eat breakfast food past 11AM, even at brunch. But dinner for breakfast is something I do all the time.
I've eaten many a cold slice of pizza for breakfast. drek fest? Just made hash with the leftover corned beef and potatoes from St. Patty's Day topped with sunny side eggs for dinner.
Dinfast? That reminds me I have two corned beef in the fridge. I always buy extra when on sale for paddy's day. I cured my own once but honestly not worth the trouble.... now my homemade cured smoked bacon..
