Arriving from London to LV on the 5th of March 18.30.
Anyone know the aprx price for taxi from airport to hotel? Is it "rush" traffic at that time of day? What shall we say to the driver so that he dont take the longest and most expensive way?

Should be about $20. My friend recently was long hauled to Aria through the tunnel and it was around $30.

Yep $20-25 including tip as long as you don't get long hauled.

Yeah, I've gone from $18 to $25 depending on traffic. Tell the taxi driver you don't want to take the tunnel. It'll get you out from McCarran faster, and you just shoot down Tropicana.

Me and my brother is travelling. First time to Vegas. In norway we have to pay $10 or more just to get in to the car som $20-25 wont be so bad :) If its more, then the taxi driver will get no tip. maybe an idea to tell him "take the same way as last month". The cheapest :)

I'll add that the driver is very likely to say something along the lines of, "Oh, there's tons of traffic/construction/whatever on the surface streets, the highway would be faster." I have literally never found this to be the case; every time, I tell him I'd still rather not take the tunnel, he sighs heavily, and we proceed to fly right down the road. It's unfortunate, because I could completely imagine a situation in which there actually is construction or an accident, resulting in extra-heavy traffic, but at this point I just don't find them credible.
