Ceasars AC - Comeback City

Went down to Ceasars AC last weekend for the Holiday Gift event and to play some VP. Brought a bankroll of $5,000. As those who follow my recent posts know, lately my two favorite games have been Extra Draw Frenzy (Triple Double Bonus 10-play at dollar level) and Super Triple Play (Super DDB 10-play at dollar level).

As good as my luck has been lately, that's how bad I started off. Could not get a dealt 3OAK to save my life on Extra Draw Frenzy (which is needed to initiate the bonus). The one time I got it, I bricked all 25 hands. I switched to Super Triple Play and was dealt several premium 3OAKs, but could not convert any of them. Most frustratingly, I was dealt 3 Aces twice and went 0-for-20 on the draws. I finally hit this, but the machine went right back to being cold and I quickly lost most of it. To be continued...

 

Was down to my last $1000 and was extremely frustrated at not hitting anything, so I said screw it and bumped it up to $2 on Super Triple Play at a steep $120/spin, figuring I would probably lose it quickly and just go home. Failure to draw any Aces had been killing me all day, then I finally drew this holding just one Ace. Back in business!

 

My nemesis Aces came back to help me in a big way, as I was dealt 3 Aces again and finally hit not one but two quad Aces on the draw, one with a kicker. This is my third biggest jackpot ever. Got it all in a check and stuck it in my wallet.

 

After that monster hit, the machine turned very cold again, so I switched back to $1 so as not to blow my money too quickly. Of course, shortly after switching to dollars, I was dealt this. Still a nice payday!

 

My luck continued in a big way and I ended well up for the day after the disastrous start. I love it when that happens!

 

Another hit... Playing Super DDB really paid off this time.

 

Final big hit of the day after switching back to Extra Draw Frenzy. While I was moaning about just missing the Royal on the first hand, I hit one on the last hand. So close to 2 Royals! This was the same machine I hit a Royal on 2 weeks ago. A great comeback and a fun day. See you next time!

Congrats Mike,you're waaaay out of my league as far as gambling stakes go ,glad to hear you made a comeback. Mrs. JG would probably waterboard me if I lost 4 hundred much less 4 large.

 

Great job! Next time you're headed to AC give me a holler and we can get a drink if you'd like as I've been hitting Harrah's and Caesars quite a bit instead of Vegas as I live in DC now (name's Chris btw nice to unofficially meet you!)
