I am platinum with my hubby but I will be taking a trip with my mom and I want to use credit card points so I was going to book my trip on westjet vacations and not take an offer from the hotel. Can I still use the invited guest line or will they boot me out because I didn't book on an offer?

    MGM or CET would help.

Also, if you have offers, why not take them?

If mlife, I was able to use the special little check in room at Monte Carlo as a gold member. I'm guessing that is the invited guest area? I wasn't on an offer as my flight was canceled and I needed a room pronto.

MLife or CET shouldn't matter.... As long as you've got the Platinum card you're good to go. How you booked the trip doesn't matter.
