October 16th-20th VMB Get Together?

So if you'll be around in Vegas over October 16th-20th, Kris and I are having our wedding and we'll be everywhere with our wedding party.
Everyone is invited to join in the fun!
We'll be around MSS Thursday night
The Strip Friday Night
Back downtown Saturday night

Of course this is all tentative...if you'll be around, we'll have our "Official VMB Wristbands" on, ROLLLLING THEM BONES!

Might be doing the thirsty pubcrawl on thursday oct 17th downtown at henessee tavern( done it now twice on advice of my buddy and had both times a blast) depends if my buddy will join me thelast week.

 

Vegas meet-ups are difficult due to the inconsistency of gambling and schedules. You get on a hot table and then time passes quickly past your appointment or you get a cold streak and have too much time to kill prior to the meet up. However I will propose the following during that Thurs - Saturday in October(16-18th) timeframe when it appears many will be in town......how about a craps meet-up? If we were to make a commitment (like a dinner reservation) for a given date and time it could be a fun wrist-band event. It would be great if we had enough to open a table for us as it would be unlikely enough spots would be available at a table already in use.

I have no idea how many players would be needed to reserve a table (or just open a new one) on a weekday / weekend (day/night). But it would be interesting to see how many of the VMB'ers are close enough in proximity to assemble at a given location / time. I put this under TIMSPEED's post as he has a wedding party and who knows how many participants would come from that group.

Any ideas? Possible time / locations? I would doubt it realistic for enough of us to have a common void in our schedules for such a meet-up but if it were possible I would have hated to not taken the risk to ask. It is far enough out for me to adjust my schedule of activities if I knew by Oct 1 (I would imagine) I needed to be somewhere in around 3 weeks.
Main St. Station has 20x odds which would take care of any amount one would want to wager but there are many options we could explore.

Any ideas?

 

On Thursday night I'm SURE we could find an empty craps table at MSS or Cal..
I'm down for that, Thursday night October 16th at Cal or MSS.
Like I said, we'll have our wristbands on.

 

I'm in town from the 15th to19th but other than a concert Saturday night I have no idea where we'll be on any given day. Doubt we'll make it DT.

 

I was amiss as yes the jb Concert Saturday and pre-party Friday really does leave Thursday or early Friday (like early Friday sounds like fun) so let's concentrate on Thursday maybe if there is enough interest.

 

I know Joe doesn't get in till 3 on Friday_ but he doesn't play craps either...
I know a lot of people won't want to come downtown...but on the strip, on a weekend, the table limits are too high and too crowded.
It may be you and me only bubba...

I have no big plans for Thursday evening. I will be with two friends who are not VMB members but I would certainly be willing for a quick Hello downtown about 8 pm. I will send my phone number in a private message as the time draws nearer, when I know what I am doing.
I am arriving the 15th and leaving the 20th. I will be at Battista's Hole in the Wall Friday night and then the JB concert Saturday night. Probably go to Andre's over at the Monte Carlo after the concert since it is walking distance from the MGM Garden Arena.
Okay, I have been a VMB member for a few years, but the wrist bands is news to me. For my benefit and anybody else who will follow this thread, care to share with me what one is and/or how to get one?

 

I'm in for MSS at 8:00 Thursday night, and I'll be wearing my wristband too. I will be there.

They usually have an open/unused craps table. However, I don't know if they would open it up for us - they may not have the staff on hand to deal/handle the stick/boxman. But if we have enough people (say like 8 of us), it would be worth a try!

Believe me, I've been to MSS enough times to know, at times (quite a bit) the craps table is EMPTY, so we can definitely take it over.

 

I have the Bruno Mars concert on Friday night I'm not sure what time I'll get out of there. We are staying at mgm so if you make it down there I'll look for you. I'll watch the threads and try and see we're you guys end up, and try and come and meet up with everyone.

I don't arrive until Friday evening but I'll keep my eye on the board to see what's up. Not sure if I'll make it downtown, but it is a definite possibility. I'll keep my eye out for any VMBers. (I'm definitely down for taking over a craps table if we can.)
