Noir Again, after being demoted for one year

Was just informed that I am Noir. Awarded today, valid until October 2015. I was Noir Oct.2012-Oct. 2013. So, for most of 2014, I was Platinum. I always exceed 1 Million tier.My comps never lessened during the demotion. Always given VIP check in and limo. Guess my play was recognized. Was told you have to be recommended for Noir. Don't understand what determines the level. I never changed my play, but now I am Black Card again. Anyone know the criteria?

 

Subjective. All subjective. Did you squeak the wheel more than last year? That might have made a difference a bit too. But with the current Noir standards, I have read no info about clearly stating what you need to achieve it.

 

I would tend to agree with this statement. I would also guess there is some movement in who they give NOIR to. Club/Marketing manager gets an idea to increase members, or reduce members and they give out to more or less. Sort of like comp offers - what you get one month or qtr can change the next month or qtr. Or call ins. Whims of management.

 

Last trip I had accumulated for the year 1.1 mill TCs. Asked about it and was told its all corporate. Perhaps nice way of saying no? Anyhow how many TCs do you have ?

I dont get it. There are no hard benefits being Noir. Skipping a taxi line and a cruise you wont use. They really should think about reformatting their card platform.

 

Limo to/from Bellagio, VIP Check In , Lounge, Free Concert Tickets.....these benefits I do use

 

Seems like MGM making a dumb move taking something out of CET's playbook.

Why would you want to insult someone who racks up a million TCs a year? To see if you can get them to rack up a million and a half?

Instead of erasing the boundary for an existing level, they should have created a new level.

 

I have never seen anything that provides for free concert tickets based on level. These are usually due to theo.

Also,which lounge is set up for NOIR at Bellagio?

 

The Buck Fifty goes a long way

 

LImo is the only benefit but that too was gained with the theo to get to Noir. I just dont understand having a top level in a rewards program that has little to no tanglible benefits.
