Has anyone used ReadySim in Vegas?

I can't do without my data (sad, I know)

We bought a ReadySim Sim when we went to NYC and it was great, and good value compared to roaming charges from the UK!

Was wondering what the coverage was like in Vegas, and whether it was difficult to find in stock.

Readsim uses the same network as Roammobility (same company), and it works great in Vegas for me. you can also have readysim shipped to you before you arrive in Vegas.

 

1. Indeed - they cover Vegas, but is it good coverage? patchy?

2. Yes, I read they have several dealers. When I bought one in NYC, the first dealer didn't have any, the second place I bought the last one. Hence my question on if anyone knows whether they actually have stocks.

 

Thanks! I was considering the shipping, but worried about it getting lost en-route to the UK. Also I may have to pay customs charges on top.

Don't know what network you're on, but 3 recently released free roaming in the US as part of their "feel at home" plan. From memory it's up to your standard data cap, or something ridiculous like 25gb per month if you're on unlimited UK data. Was enough incentive to finally switch off the crappy data limits of my previous provider. There might be a per year number of trips cap as well - I didn't look at this section too carefully as I tend to just take one big trip per year rather than multiple.

 

Many thanks for that - I'm on o2, but will look into three, as long as it includes tethering.
