MSS is my latest Home Casino, due to great full pay VP as well as no resort fees!
It used to be the Palms, but they lost me due to reducing the great VP they once had,
specifically the 10/7 Double Bonus machines that were by the entrance for many years.

Like you, I am about an hour drive from Hollywood Columbus, but only went there once, shortly about a month after it opened. Never went back. I am about 15 minutes away from the Dayton one, but rarely go to it because of the lack of table games.

If I was to claim a local home casino, It would be the Bellterra riverboat in Indiana. It is a 2 hour drive, so that keeps me from going as much as I would like, which is probably a good thing.

As far as Vegas goes, I don't have one a "home", but frequent thr MGM properties at the south end of the strip. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get out there much in the last few years.

For years it was Bally's. Gaming went down hill so I switched to Boyd specifically MSS. During December rodeo trips my friends aren't crazy about downtown so last year it was GC. When I bring momma out it is either Palms or RR.

I just love Palace Station nowadays, play a little poker + all my favorite table games and enough slots in between to keep me happy :)
home base casino would be HC Eindhoven (the netherlands)

Par-A-Dice in Peoria or any of the St. Louis area Casinos are mini bases at home (once a year or so). Vegas it's Main Street Station for the full pay VP, the easy, close, free parking and 777 brew pub. Any of the other Boyd props, when MSS is full or too expensive.

Home is Seminole Hard Rock outside FT Myers FL..Never set foot in the place...Shitty VP,no comped drinks unless at BJ table I think and no need to gamble close to home..
Away has to be the Rio..since '02..yeah it's gotten worn but still ok..Splitting time with the Boyd props now for better VP..
In a few days I'm gonna get a Keurig coffee maker in the room somehow someway. $20 tip to housekeeping should take care of it if worse comes to worse..we'll see

This sounds like us too, although we might be 35 minutes away from Caesars Windsor.

    Agreed on Venetian.

I've stayed on that side twice and since I experienced Palazzo I haven't turned back. MM trip two years ago I arrived late and got a Vezina tower room at Venetian. They moved me the next day but my mojo was off. Being the superstitious bastard I am I don't think it's a coincidence I started winning after checking into my Palazzo room!

I like the counter tops separating bedroom and living room in Palazzo vs the railing in Venetian. I also like the default quiet casino. If I want the rowdy scene Venetian is a walk away.

My main beef? I hate Cantor gaming and their sports book set up. As a sports bettor this weighs on me each trip as I will go to other books whenever possible.

I also like Venetian's Grand Lux location better.

Cosmopolitan. It was the first casino I stepped foot in in Vegas and it's stuck with me ever since. I've only stayed there once (working on bumping up my Identity level!) but I just love the energy the place has, love the selection and quality of the food and bar options, and I have come to know a lot of the staff over the years, they obviously treat their people well and they stay and are clearly happy. It's very rare for me that a Vegas day goes by without my stopping in the Cosmo at least once. If MGM ends up buying the place I will scream bloody murder.

Honorary mention to NYNY, for almost all the same reasons.

We get "deals" on Mlife properties, but CE's offers blow them away, so we stay at the Mirage maybe once per year, all other trips are at CE properties. Heck our next trip TI gave us a better deal than Mlife....Keep in mind we play locally at least 3x per week, Mlife is pretty tight
