Well, it's time for a happier post. What was your best ever video poket trip to Vegas in terms of winning. List the amount and denomination you play.
For me- July 2015- I hit two royal flushes playing the $1 variety of DB and ended the trip up about 8k.

October 2014, first and only royal. A bunch of 4oaks including my last hit AWAK on DDB 9:5 for a quarter the last year that was seen at CP.

One other trip was royal-less but came close to rivaling that one.

If you want to read some chaotic VP trips, there is a diary on the Las Vegas section of 2p2 by a guy called Leon, and he absolutely loves the game.

Made my eyes water reading some of the swings!

Oct 2019 (last week) - my first day hit $12,000 on Ultimate Aces 3 line/.25 denom. Second day long story short- found a wallet on the ground and grateful owner quickly showed up and insisted on rewarding me $20. Put it in Dream Poker and hit $2000 single line/.50 denom! Leaving the hotel on the third day (suitcase in hand}, hit $4000 on Hot Roll poker 3 line/$1 denom :) All this occurred at Cosmo, came home up over 10k...

Best for me would be hitting four 3s and the kicker on a 10 hand nickel machine x27 for $1,080 at MSS.

Neighbor on another trip we were on hit 2 Royal Flushes on quarters.

Mine's probably not as cool as everyone elses but hopefully I'll have a better one another time. I managed to hit a Royal Flush on a quarter machine using a $20 FP voucher on my fav VP machines over at Cromwell. I thought that was pretty neat, lol.

Hit a royal 4 aces and 4 2s In about a half hour span at Cosmo. I generally only play quarters single line so I don’t get the massive hits others do. Otherwise nothing noteworthy. My luck hasn’t been the greatest for the past 5 years.

I like Leon he is my video poker idol. A few months ago it looked like he was done with video poker but then bounced back in with some nice wins including $40,000 won playing 80 hands .25 denom.

I have stayed at the Rampart exactly two times. I am generally a quarter single line DDB player but I do mix it up at times. The first day I had many, many quads and was up a reasonable amount. On my 2nd night I hit a quarter royal on a progressive machine playing BP and exactly one hour later I hit a 50 cent royal on a nearby machine, also playing BP. Sometimes I think I should stick to BP.

My second time at Rampart I hit AWAK exactly one hour apart playing 25 cents on TDP, and again many, many quads. Why do I stay anywhere else?

At Harrah's in Council Bluffs I hit so many AWAK and other premium quads I left substantially ahead. I also did quite well on slots. Too bad that casino is in the middle of nowhere!

I've got no idea what is going on, but just found the thread. It's a great read, and very gripping to read!

I saw he had another good trip recently, where he went with his dad for a tourney. Absolutely manic, lol.

It makes for a very interesting read, that's for sure. I'm glad that I've never gotten involved in VP other than when really bored, as it sounds like it can be quite the rollercoaster!

My last trip in August. I was lucky enough to hit 2 Royals, one a progressive for $1500. I was there for 12 days and after all the food, cost of the hotel and flight, Uber's, tips and drinks I profited $1100. Basically I was paid $1100 to take a 12 day vacation!

Old O'Shea's in 2002 in the evening just after I got married out at Red Rocks—Royal Flush, 1k jackpot on 5 quarters—I might have even inserted the quarters one by one. Marriage didn't last but still a great memory. I miss the old O'Shea's. Now when I go in there it's all a bunch of people who are a lot younger than me—what happened, what the hell happened?

Last week, we were there Sat-Tues morning. My wife hit a RF on $1 level at Cal for $8,600. I hit two $1,600 4OAKs on the same machine the next night at $2 level. Started with $3k, came home with just short of $10k.

Prior to that, the one that sticks out is my 2nd trip to Vegas back in 2000 for my wife's 22nd birthday. Hit my first RF on $0.25 level at Binions, dealt it to me! About 8 hours later, moved over to QQQQ, hit the old quick progressive DB RF for $1700. Messed around a bit, dealt 4 aces on a Big Bertha dollar machine for $800. Went to bed, woke up, played BJ at Fremont where we were staying. Took a restroom break, but $20 in a triple play....hit my 3rd RF of the trip for $1500. All told, we started with $2k and came home with $8k. All at the age of 21 (younger than my wife.....she's a cougar ;) ).......multiple tax forms, no deductions, had to pay taxes, etc, but hooked for life! :)

There have been others, but those are the two that stick out the most!

My last one. The sports book bar at Mirage. Down to my last 2 hands and only one ace held. It was meant to be.

My Sept. 2017 trip. First night: Got a Bartop Royal at TAG (RIP) and a multiplied dollar quad about 3 hours later at Flamingo. Ended up about $1500 for the trip.

My last trip in June. We had a car this time and left town every day to see the sights, so I played less than I normally would.

Started off with the 4-Queens summer promo. While I lost a little cash, it provided a bunch of food comps for the trip.

The next night I hit a $1 progressive at the Luxor for my biggest hit ever. The following morning I got on a little heater with a quarter AWAK progressive and another quad aces. At this point I locked up my bankroll, airfare and $3-$4k in profit. I nursed about $1k for the rest of the trip.
