    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I planned this itinerary several months ago and have since found out that LV Club has a breakfast special all next week where we will get free coupons for 4 of the 7 days we will be there, which will save us even more money!
    The only other modification to the above is that I will probably go see the dolphins at Mirage more than once as I seriously love them, and we may go see Skintight instead of Jubilee, as I ave seen Jubilee twice and am curious about Skintight.
    I'll post a full trip report when we get back, meanwhile, everyone keep your fingers crossed that I do well on Video Poker!!!!!
    Don't know if I am catching you in time, but I have a suggestion. On Sunday, if the Fontana lounge is open after "O" go out on their patio and watch the Fountains from there. In my opinion the best vantage point for watching the show, and much less crowded than the street. The night my wife and I were there, we were one of 3 couples out there.
    Habanaman, I had heard that was a great place to watch the foundtains from, so we will definately plan to have a cocktail there after "O"! Thanks for the heads up!
    Wow Gayle, I'm tired just reading your itinerary! :D
    I love downtown and was glad to see you're staying there. I'm staying at LVC in August (free room offer) so I'll be interested to hear details about the room.
    Good luck; sounds like a fun trip!
    bigdogmom, my husband had the exact same response when he read the itinerary! LOL
    I have stayed at LV Club before so know it's a great value for the money. The rooms are on the large side, spacious, clean, and with comfortable beds. We have stayed there twice, both in the North and South Towers, so be sure to request a North Tower room as they are newer and nicer.
    I love staying downtown as it saves so much money and I really think the Downtwon Hotels as a general rule, try harder to win your loyalty and business.
    I have stayed on the strip as well and aside from the wonderful, even spectacular swiming pools, I don't think they are worth the price you pay for them. I'd rather spend those saved $$ on other things like nice meals, shows and gaming.
    I gotta say though, I really DO Love the Mandalay Bay pool, so if pools are really important maybe it's worth being on the strip.
