He didn't but I'm not sure why not. Happy to check.
Now I feel like I should head up there while here in LV. Sorta sorry I canceled my rental car.
Is this only for new players to Wynn or and anybody who has a card?
Absolutely I would! Take a nice long walk or hop on the Deuce!
Checking but for some reason I assumed this would be for any player, including existing ones.
This is hilarious. I am Grazie Elite (Venetian) and am guaranteed Wynn Platinum for my upcoming trip. I was gonna split my bankroll and try to make Wynn Platinum the normal way, but now I guess I don't have to. Of course, I am not going low play them. I will do my usual. But in case I just barely miss it... I can just ask for a status match. Assuming the status match promotion is extended beyond June.
@JulianC - interesting insight and analysis. I heard Brian Gullbrants is being moved to Las Vegas and taking over for the current and soon to be retiring President of Wynn.
Yes, existing players can do the tier match as well.
For sure! I think I can fly there either free on miles or less than $150. It looks like I’d match to Platinum with V/P Elite. The two Masterclasses alone are worth it. Now off to see what day I should fly in… Will probably just stay for a night.
Thanks for posting!
Yep. That's what I was mentioning. There have been a couple of news stories. Marilyn Spiegel, who came out of retirement to serve as President of Wynn for three years, is going back into retirement.
I had a chance to meet her on the casino floor early one morning. I recognized her from a VEGAS magazine article about powerful women in Vegas. We chatted for a couple of minutes after I recognized her and introduced myself. She was very friendly and a quick and sharp wit. It's a fun, really lovely, Wynncore memory.
Interesting. Sorry if this was posted, but I wasn't entirely clear. Can I match my MLife status of Platinum to Wynn Platinum at the Encore Boston? Or does it have to be a regional casino in the northeast to do this match at Encore Boston?
Actually, I have Platinum at Foxwoods. I'd assume that would also match to Platinum at Encore Boston. Hmm....
Is there a way to do this before I get to Vegas? I don't arrive until July 9th period.
This news is so exciting. We are coming to Paris in a couple of weeks, and already planned to stay at Wynn at end of July. We are paying for the wynn room because we've never stayed there. If I can truly match our cet diamond elite to wynn black, this will make our wynn stay that much better. Haven't paid for a room for awhile, so I hope they're generous with a backend comp.
I guess you are not mad at the plants and have forgiven them?
I already speculated that EBH won't be doing tier matching -- and also mentioned the free play promo from two years ago that involved a tier match of sorts (prior to Wynn Rewards being a thing in Boston). Unlike Vegas, there isn't a new competing casino opening within hundreds of miles of here anytime soon.
I feel like I want to do this ASAP, the matches seem generous and I feel like if they don’t get big play out of matched players they will shut this down, quick. The Black card has nice tangible benefits and I’d like to get them, lol.
Of course, this is a good time for them to do this with people discontent at CET and a big new property opening across the street. It will get people through the door who actually play and remind them how nice the Wynn is.
I also feel like Steve Wynn would NEVER have approved this.
Oh well, that's too bad. Not sure when I'm making it to Vegas again, but if Encore Boston was offering it, it's worth an hour drive one weekend. Not a big deal for me as I'm pretty content with what MLife offers, but might have been nice to dip my toes in bigger waters.
Forgive and forget! Now if the same thing happens to me twice?? Shame on me. LOL
Mlife Gold is only $3000 in resort spend. If did like $1500 in spend during my trip next week, I'd get there and go match. Alas, I don't think my buddy and I are going to spend -that- much money.
My timing normally sucks. This time it doesn’t. I’ll be there in 9 days and staying on a Wynn app 2 free nights. I stayed there in February too but didn’t get far in points. I’m Mlife gold. I will make a beeline to the Red Desk upon arrival. I also have the AMEX offer for $60 back in $300. What an exciting trip.
I’m wondering if there will be a wait time like when I matched to Caesar’s. I’m only there 2 days. Also, what is the deal with the birthday dinner? Does it have to be on your birthday? Mlife gives you birthday free play for the month of your birthday. I advanced age once again on June 1 but will be there on the 20th.
Thank you @Flowers for all the information. You are a true fountain of information!
If I match in June when will it expire? I’m not sure I will be back this year.
Anyone know if the spa credit can be used at the salon?
