Hi Everybody! I don't post here a lot but thought I'd post a TR about my last trip-you guys seem friendly enough and I've enjoyed reading the site.

Wynn Salon Suite This is not a typical room for me but it was the first vacation in a long, long time for me and my husband together so we splurged. The room was beautiful, the lobby was beautiful, the staff were very helpful-never felt uncomfortabe. I did feel like some of the other guest were silently judging me but it was probably my own paranoia.

Okada This was our fancy meal. I don't like fish, raw food, or spicy food but my husband loves it all and we couldn't get to experience a restaurant like this where we live. I found plenty of things I did like from the robatayaki grill and my husband was thrilled with his sushi plate-I can't remember everything but there was a lot. Service was very good and helpful. We had a nice table looking at the koi pond and waterfall.

VIP Secret Garden Tour It's $200 plus the regular admission but I'd do it again. It lasted just over a hour with most of the time spend talking about the dolphins. You get your picture taken with a dolphin and get a chance to touch them (rubbery and warm, not slimey). We also got to sit in an underground room with windows that look into the tank. This room is not open to the public. I could have sat in there all day and it is very evident that the dolphins can see you watching them.

I'm a slot player-didn't win, lost more than I have before but within the budgeted amount. We saw Love and thought it was fantastic but can't say anything that other haven't already said. Palazzo casino seemed empty to me. There is a really cool sculpture exhibit by the "O" theater at Bellagio. They were really amazing (and some are available for purchase if you have $50-190 K that you don't mind spending). And as always, Bouchon is my most favorite spot in Vegas.

I've got the good pictures on Flickr-http://www.flickr.com/photos/prlvmom

Thanks for reading!-Claire

:nworthy: Thank you for the trip report and the pictures. Especially the ones of the dolphins. No way that I will ever get a chance to go in there.

Wow.

The VIP Secret Garden...is that at the WYNN or the Mirage? I've stayed at the Wynn before and didn't know dolphins lived there. But then again, I'm no VIP for sure so I'm sure there's LOTS I don't know.

Thanks for taking time to post and link to the photos.

Great TR and pics! I have always wanted to do the VIP Secret Garden tour...maybe I will in a couple weeks. Hubby won't think it's nearly as fun, but maybe he can go along and take pics. :evillaugh

Nice pics of your Wynn salon, too. Nice place!

Sorry for the confusion. I can type way faster than I think. The VIP tour is available at the Mirage Secret Garden to anybody willing to shell out $200 plus the normal admission fee. You get your picture taken with the dolphin first thing so that when the tour is finished your photo is ready.

thanks for sharing, those dolphin pictures put a smile on my face. i had never heard of this tour before so it is a definite stop on my next trip. thanks

I enjoy looking at vacation pictures as much as I enjoy reading vacation reports. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic view from your Wynn suite, how relaxing! and the rooms, they are so grand!
The table location at Okada, super cool.
That dolphin, oh that dolphin pic, wow.

Great report and it does the body and soul good to splurge like that every once in a while. Loved the pictures. It's great to look through other peoples eyes and see what they see.

Great pictures! The suite looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.

What a great trip! May I have your permission to use your dolphin picture as my desktop background? It's amazing!!!

Texas Pam-go right ahead. I'm using the same picture as my screensaver now too!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
