Just received an email that Wynn is now re-booking stays that were cancelled due to covid. If any of you were affected, check your email and respond.

Looks like once they acknowledge your acceptance of the terms, you can book in-app which is pretty cool.

Nice one, and a lot sooner than I expected.

I've got 3 nights booked in November, so will have to wait until after that, I guess.

Is the December calendar out yet?

I haven't gotten an email yet but I saw someone post that the booking had to be done by the end of August. Can the OP confirm that? Thanks.

You have to rebook from the dates available, by the 31st August, and currently the calendar runs to the end of November.

What address did they email you at as one of the accounts we had booked on wasn’t linked to a Facebook account and nothing received on the email address used when booking.

Also, are you saying you have to rebook your trip for November this year at the latest? I was now looking at booking next year so do I lose the perk?

Im wondering if I even qualify for this as the hotel was open by the time my booking was due so wasn’t technically wynns fault but coming from the UK we weren’t allowed in so I’m wondering if they’re only emailing people where the app actually cancelled their booking because the hotel was shut rather than people like me who ended up having to cancel the booking myself due to no way of getting there.

Yeah, it looks like we're out of luck at present @winningonwynn

I'm not going to chase it, as I'm sure they're going to be pressed with all the people looking to be rebooked in the near future. However, I'm going to reach out in a few weeks and try to reach some form of resolution given the circumstances. They told us to cancel, and then rebook.

Obviously nothing to do with the Wynn themselves, however, Juan got in touch with someone there and they told the app to honour his reservation.

Hopefully they'll add another few months to the calendar before the Aug 31 deadline comes.

Sounds like they will based on what I'm seeing from the FB group.

They'll be asking me for a fight if they keep to that unless they massively expand their calendar. I very much doubt the border would even be open by then. Have not received the email.

The only fair thing for them to do would be to allow anyone affected to be able to rebook regardless of level for one time. Whether that time is now or next year or whenever. At the end of the day we had earned the right to book at the time and had earned the gems and I’m assuming they haven’t paid/were refunded any cost from Wynn themselves for all the unused bookings so it’s not costing them anything from what I can see?

I can’t see the likes of me or marky in the UK being able to get into the USA anytime soon and surely anyone is dubious right now about booking something. Maybe that’s their motivation to try and fill the hotel during this quiet time but with most people not knowing if there will be a second lockdown, quarantine issues, flights still being cancelled and the likes of the UK still not even allowed in many countries I can’t see myself being able to book something by the end of next month without a high risk of it cancelling again anyway.

@Marky147 i think you’re right that it’s not worth reaching out right now as it will be buried but I too will be looking to contact them in a few weeks. I still note that my most recent reply to them after telling me to cancel myself and me reaching out for a written confirmation I and my girlfriend could rebook our seven combined nights was never replied to.

I've got 3 nights booked for November, if HGS goes ahead, otherwise I'll be cancelling that, and may just try to use all my nights up in December by rebooking before Checkout from Level 3, providing I can rebook my 4 nights for that trip, too.

They will likely open up the calendar into early 2021 before the Aug 31 deadline comes. Unfortunately, I don't think they're going to go out much further than that. It's one thing to give a one time exception for the VIP booking but another to give people an indefinite period to book reservations.

We cancelled the Wynn stay just after our flights were cancelled. It was for mid May anyway, but we were arriving in USA April 8th for our usual marathon trip. We had 7 nights between us. I really hope we can use them again. I won’t hold my breath though.

I had a trip in March booked through the Wynn app that got cancelled when the hotel closed. But I didn’t get any email about rebooking. Are they allowing everyone in this situation to rebook, or only people they sent the email to? (And how did they determine who got the email?)

Just e-mail them telling them you haven't had notification about rebooking, unlike the others who had their trip cancelled when the hotel closed, and they should sort it out.

Appears that you have to click accept T&Cs and then you're good to book.

I just got the e-mail this morning, so cancelled my booking for November, and going to try and get one in december instead, I think.

I don't play the app and I don't work for Wynncore :), but it is an accommodating place IMO and all of the casinos will be struggling for some time to build back their business so I agree with @Marky147. Just reach out at the appropriate time. I would be shocked if an appropriate accommodation is not made, especially for international visitors to Vegas, who cannot travel to the US any time soon and even if they could, there may be a lot of restrictions returning home if they live in Europe.
