Years ago I used to get a kick out of the reviews of The Western (not sure why i put westward ho originally) now that its gone I'm wondering what the worst place in town is.

Safety/Neighborhood/Clientele I would consider the determining factors even if they have great gaming.

Siegel Slots and Suites really gets destroyed on trip advisor reviews...

    Longhorn maybe??

Curious to others opinions especially those that may have stayed and played in these places...are they really that bad?

I like the low end places but i have to agree that i walked into the aztec with very low expectations and it fell short of them buy a long shot. just walked through and left.

Longhorn is actually quite nice for a dive and I feel quite safe there.

Lol I always fancied nipping in here. When we did my wife walked in one entrance and straight out the other door.

Not good but surely worse out there.

I have been to the Longhorn, it's not too bad.

Wild Wild West on Tropicana can be scary

it has been closed for a few years now, but the Opera House Casino. it was in North LV, and I think it was owned by the same company that owns Longhorn.
the drug trade was pretty obvious. quite an adventure.

I actually have enjoyed the Silver Nugget. The workers are very nice and appreciate when you tip. The only caveat is that I only go there in the afternoon.

Never been to any dives yet but Circus Circus for the mere fact that the carpet looks like it hasn't been changed in over 2 decades.

I have to agree, I feel like a turd in a punch bowl when I spend any time there.

Yikes - I always thought The Western was a great casino. The walk down Fremont at night was always an adrenaline-filled rush. Guess that says a lot about me.....

Longtime ago the Klondike Inn just pass the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. It was the casino from Vegas Vacation where Clark and Eddie went to, where he played pick a number and war. Casino looked that in real life.

I agree that Lucky Club has to be the worst. Big Horn and Long Horn has a grundgy feel but Lucky Club is down right scary.

Bighorn is a genuine dive, and although Lucky Club is technically "nicer" I have never been so freaked out in a casino.

Thanks to comments from posters here, and friends on other boards, I have avoided the majority of places that have been mentioned. I want to try the 'Tez someday just to say I did, and am glad it has not yet received any votes. Once my cheap father and his wife went to Vegas with us and insisted on staying at Circus Circus. We had to go in to meet them one time. The place was filthy and smelled like a bucket of dead chipmunks.
