Nice you were able to get 6 nights at the Wynn and stay in your same room!

@Matty Ice - please compare the Prime Rib at Ellis Island with other comparably priced Prime Ribs, if you can, places like

    Magnolia's - QQQQ
    Jerry's Nugget Cafe - Jerry's Nugget
    Tony Roma's - downtown

It looks good, but then again, Jerry's Nugget LOOKS good, but is quite tasteless.

The food, margarita, and service were great at Juan’s! It’s probably a small thing, but the flour tortillas for the fajitas were probably the best tortillas I’ve ever had. The chips and salsa were really good, and the bean dip was excellent. Also, since I sat at the bar and played blackjack, my margarita was comped. It is about 20 minutes west of the strip, but if you have a rental car I highly recommend it.

I'm old enough to remember that royal flush paying $5000.

My work from Vegas trip is coming to an end. Just finished packing, and enjoying the room for a few more minutes before heading out.

I apologize for the lack of updates. Gambling Sunday and Monday was really good. Gambling Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday was really bad. Long work days in the room didn’t provide many exciting updates. I did really enjoy having a car to check out some off strip locations I normally wouldn’t. It also allowed me the opportunity to make 2 ATM deposits with Chase.

I ate great this trip! Way better than what I have been used to at home. :feedme:

Thursday lunch was Pizza Rock and I treated myself to in room dining at The Wynn with a Cobb Salad and Berry cheesecake. :D

I’ll be back in 40 days for March Madness, and I can’t wait!

I can’t compare it to those places, but I thought it was much better than the Prime Rib I had at The Cal’s cafe a few years ago. It was very flavorful, cooked perfectly at medium rare.

I know it sucks about the losing days but glad you were able to make some deposits!
Both the pizza (love Pizza Rock) and that cheesecake look fabulous. Wynn room service was a nice treat. Wynn does it well.
In sum IMO you had a fantastic WFV experience. You got the work done and had a good time as well.
Thanks for such a great trip report.

It was a ghost town Monday-Wednesday. Definitely picked up Thursday.

Two Royals, Wynn and good eats; not a bad week!! Breakfast at Terrace Pointe looked great. Thanks for a nice TR.

Thanks for the trip report. That's awesome. I'm working from home too and wish I could go to Vegas, but unfortunately live in Canada, so can't really cross the border, lol.
