Work Trip - use Card or Not?

Hello,

I am headed to Vegas on a work trip for a couple days in March, against my better judgement my coworker wants to stay on the strip.

I do a weekend every year during football season where it is all Gambling all the time. My question would be, since I will only be gambling a minimal amount, should I not use my TR card if I'll only do a couple hundred a day, if that?

If I don't use it for gambling, could I use it at restaurants still or would that still hurt me?

 

If your play is going to be signifcantly different than the norm, probably skip using the card. It may be a good opportunity to try other casinos. If you use to just to redeem points with no play, that will be horrible for future comps. Either use it all the way or not all.

Or play somewhere where you hasn't and try to get a teaser offer would be my play

 

Also don't be tempted to show your co-worker the diamond lounge. I would leave the card at home so that habit doesn't insert the card into a machine by mistake.

 

First of all, they won't be impressed.
